these snack cups are great - stainless steel, nice flexible silicone tops that are easy to open for little hands. We've had many style of containers - but the plastic lids seemingly always develop cracks over time - so we were in the search of ones with more durable lids and hopefully more durable body that was not made of plastic (also maybe avoiding glass as little hands always seem to have the tendency to drop things - especially if they are made of glass). After some searching around these ECOlunchbox stainless steel cups with silicone tops seemed to fit the bill nicely! And so far we've been happy with them. Unfortunately, they are exceptionally costly - so I've opted to deducted for that (I'll bet you also hate to feel like you should tracking anything small that can get misplaced like it is made of gold - we've all got bigger worries to deal with!)Hopefully they will hold up in the long run - only time will tell how well they do.

I wish I could give this 4.5 stars. .5 star removed for the high cost. On the other hand, you get what you pay for. These are what the description says -- ONE CUP size -- that is 8 ounces. Look at a measuring set and look at the one cup measure. That is the size of each of these food containers. Perfect for snacks, children's portions, side dishes, sauces, portion control. Not for a full adult main meal. They are exactly what I need and I love that the lid is silicone and not plastic.

I love these little containers, they are my favorites. Beautiful, well designed, just what I needed. Perfect to store my little dog’s dinner portions. I purchased 8 and when cooking her food for the week I fill a container for each day, without having to measure. The stainless steel is solid with a nice brushed finish and the lid is a beautiful teal, soft, flexible and seals nicely. I also purchased the 3 nesting container set that is the same excellent quality with different pattern and color lids. Those lids are beautiful as well, bright but not too intense colors, orange, blue and the same teal as the 8 oz container lid. The price is high, but with good care I hope that the lids will last a long time. I definitely try to avoid food that would stain touching the lids, as silicone tends to stain easily. I’m not sure if these would, but opted to avoid it. Again, lovely, good quality, go for it!

What can you do with these unless you are under 5? Quite pricey for 4 small baby food jar size containers... wanted to like them but disappointed.

I have 6 of the 8 ounce blue seal cups. I use them primarily for packing lunches for my kids and they do a fantastic job. The silicon lids seal well and the can all be thrown into the dish washer with no issue.They really are the perfect, non-toxic, non-plastic containers I've been looking for.My only complaints are not related to their function or quality:1. They are pricey2. The manufacturer's labels that are adhered to the side of each dish is difficult to remove without the sticker falling apart and leaving behind sticky residual adhesives. Even after a few times through the dishwasher and some scrubbing I finally broke out a mild solvent to remove the rest.Seems like the manufacturer could find an adhesive label that is less aggressive especially considering the premium people pay for these items.

These have been such a great purchase. The lids stay on and the containers hold a good amount of fruit and nuts

Good sized containers for snacks. I love the stainless steel -- no more yucky plastic that breaks down over time!
