Great tippet!
This is some good stuff, almost invisible, super thin, but stronger than expected. Had a few sizeable catfish nab my flies. Without my net I had to pull them up kicking and screaming about 3 feet over the bulkhead. Totally expected to snap each time, but alas the tippet was too strong.Almost forgot the best part. It has one of those elastic band with the hole thats the best thing ever for dispensing tippet. Plus you can reuse it for your other lines when it runs out!

Both the 4X and the 2X Rio 2-tone tippet indicator are very poor at holding a knot
I initially tried the 4X but assumed it was too fragile and so bought the 2X ... but this too simply cannot hold a knot.I use a uni knot, it is considered to be a very strong knot for both mono and fluorocarbon, however the 2X 2-tone consistently break before the 4X mono that is attached as tippet.I wouldn't waste your money and find a different indicator technology.

As a newbie to the flyfishing gloriousness, and although I understand the rationale, my only gripe is that the packaging is proprietary and do not lock onto similar, alternately branded products. The actual line worked as I would’ve expected, but if you’re a newbie like me, and you want your gear tight, you might want to consider ordering within the same brand family
