I ordered the sweet paprika and that’s what the package says but be warned: it’s still hot 🥵.Having not realised this, the resulting gulyás was more akin to a vindaloo and I was the only person in my family who could eat it.The flavour is lovely but it is much hotter than the sweet Hungarian paprika I’ve bought elsewhere.

This is so tasty with a real Smokey flavour to it. Smells lovely and the colour is so vibrant.Use it a lot in my risottos. Certainly adds to the flavour both in meat or vegetarian dishes.As you only need a small amount this will last for ages, so great value for the money.

This is truly a superior quality paprika! I use paprika in many dishes and I am happy to have found this brand as it is hard to get anything other than Szeged in Canada. Definitely a great gift idea for the Hungarians in your family.

This is the real paprika from Hungary. It is the freshest that you can buy. It smells fresh just like it was ground yesterday. I have used it in every dish that calls for paprika. It is especially good in chicken paprika. I highly recommend keeping in class jars tightly sealed. I took the ingredient/information label off of the bags they came in and attached to the glass jars and labeled the top of the jars with the date I placed in jars. The expiration date on the packaging says good until 28 Feb 2026, but you should use well before then. Paprika does keep well in tightly sealed glass jars but looses its potency in less than a year. I use a lot so I don’t really have a problem with freshness. I highly recommend this product. You really do get what you pay for.
