I have used these candle holders for weeks now. I believe they have aided in my sleep and relaxation. I also believe that the antiseptic quality of salt in general goes into the air and seems to clear my sinuses.The only issue I would have is that they were inconsistently sized. There was one large one and one small one. But seeing that they appear to be hand carved it is acceptable.

The media could not be loaded.  This set of Himalayan Salt Rock Crystal candle holders are really pretty. Each one is unique because of the striations in the crystal. They are also slightly different sizes, which gives them a handmade authentic look. They are indeed salt, I did a taste test!When lit from within the glow is an orangish - red, very warm and pretty. The bottoms do not have padding of any kind, if you are worried about scratching a delicate surface put them on a towel or glue some felt to the bottoms. They do not come with candles, you have to supply those yourself. They are also quite heavy and will not fall over.These crystals are supposed to produce negative ions (which are good) that will counteract the positive ions (bad) that electronic devices put out. Negative ions are produced naturally in water falls, lightning storms and things like that. They are supposed to help with mental clarity and alertness.
