A well presented product. These appear to do the job and came with decent set of instructions.

I have always purchased these, my garden backs onto a field and now and again we have wandering rats.After about 1 week, i finally managed to capture one. TIP: use peanut butter and a peice of dark chocolate as bait, and place against a wall and where the bait can only be accessed from the front of the trap.

These are not brilliant, they are quite robust but also quite hard to set. Out of my first set of 3 one wouldn't stay set. As soon as you let go of the bar it jumped out of the stay. The seller was very good in sending me a replacement and 2 bonus mouse traps. Although the new one set OK, when I re-baited and came to re-set all 3, I found another one of the originals now had the same problem of not staying set. So back to just the 2 in full working order, using the other 2 as dummies to lull the garden rat into a false sense of security.

Decent traps easy to set up . Had an issue but this was sorted out quickly and easily I've caught some rats so all is good 👍

Only 4* as I've not used them yet. One of my cats is quite an assassin but seems to have gone off the rats that come into the garden from the cattle market across the road and have gnawed a hole in the floor of my shed. So, rather than lock said cat in the shed until he does his job I bought these traps. I have to say I wasn't expecting them to be so big! As soon as it stops raining I need to clear a space in the shed and set the traps, so hopefully I can send another review once I've seen them in action. They certainly look like they will do the job and I love the fact that gloves are included to stop my scent getting on the traps and scaring off the rats.

The traps are poor quality. Having used them for a few days they seemed initially fine. I caught a couple of mice but no rats which was the primary target. But when trying to set them again, the traps just trip straight away near taking the fingers off you. I’d return them but have thrown the box away. Not impressed at all.Edit-The seller contacted me after my initial review and gave me a full refund, futher to that I was sent a new set of traps which are working well. It’s Great to see some good customer service, so I have updated my review to give 4 stars from the initial 1.

Unfortunately we've been plagued with rats over the last few years. Despite filling holes, putting away food etc, we live in a terraced house so once the little buggars get into the eaves they have freedom to run wherever they want. Poison, loose or blocks, has limited effect, plus there's the danger that other animals could find and eat the toxic bodies. We first bought a few of these traps last year and had great success baiting them with peanut butter. The kill was instant and they could even cope with the larger size intruders (although the trap would end up several feet away from it's original position!). The inclusion of a packet of plastic gloves is a welcome bonus. I'd no idea they co Joe smell human on the traps and be deterred from approaching them.Having recently discovered a new crop of visitors, we ordered an extra set of traps to increase the jeopardy, but they are turning their noses up at peanut butter so we're trying bacon. The traps are very easy to bait, but the trigger is (understandably) very stiff and I wouldn't recommend for anyone with weak hands. Also place them in position before setting as they're extremely sensitive, even placing gently on the ground can set them off.

Originally wrote a bad review as items were missing but on contacting the company they’ve immediately sent out the missing items plus some extras to make up for it. The traps themselves are excellent and dealing with the problem effectively very happy customer would highly recommend
