There was is chunk broken from one as it was plastic and came in an envelope. (why?) When closing to seal dough the top of pastry always seems to slide back and not meet the bottom. If you make the dough about 2 inches longer it doesn't work bad.

This works very well for making calzones, empanadas, boreks, etc. It is non-stick, so it can be used repetitively without a problem, unless you need to apply a little bit of egg yolk to the edges of the dough for better closure, in which case you would have to wash and dry the unit after making about half a dozen empanadas.The bottom edge of the unit works well for cutting the right size circular piece from the dough. Even though this is not made out of metal, I have had no issues with it.

They worked but we’re hard to clean

Bought these to make calzones. It worked really well. It was my fault I used this crust pre made dough. Would buy again

I haven't used these yet, but I'm sure they'll work just fine. I'm a little annoyed at the size. I didn't read closely enough apparently, and didn't realize that the measurements of this include the handles/grip.My intention is to use these to make easy, grab and go microwaveable meals, precooked and frozen. I'm sure they'll work fine, but the working men in the house are definitely going to be taking two.

It was supposed to be a set of 2 Calzone molds but there was only 1 in the shipment. Returned to Amazon.

The product should have been cheaper.
