I use this in my home office, in an enclosure that points it at the white ceiling, so I get a really nice bright and diffuse light that fills the room. It's almost like working outdoors on a cloudy day, only without concern for the weather.I find working this way much more comfortable on the eyes than sitting in a dark room staring at bright screens, and I'd recommend everyone give it a try. Excellent bright bulb for commercial uses. Too bright for in a home. It’s a large bulb as well so make sure you use in a large fitting. I used at an exhibition hall we’re you generally need flood lamps. This was a smart alternative

Fitted it in my garage today and, yes it is very bright. So much better than the old 60W bulb I had previously. Note: it is a large bulb and gives off a very white light

Firstly wow, I cannot believe how bright this light is. It is a large bulb so depending on the holder you use be careful of it’s weight. But this bulb produces a fantastic bright light and is very useful to light up a dark corner or illuminate your diy projects. Highly recommended!
