Never got the Icsee app and the bulb camera setup by following the instructions. The problem of the app is not able to detect the WiFi router. The camera started and to be configured but couldn’t read the QR code from the app to connect. In process of returning.

We got this along with another product to watch our house while we were on vacation for a week. It was easy to set up and use, the picture was very clear, and the feed was always connected whenever I checked on it. The competitor product went offline after 2 days and never came back, so it was worthless. Happy with this product.

Pros:Surprisingly easy installSurprisingly good video qualityPrompt motion alertsCons:It doesn’t look like a normal light bulb, so it isn’t very covertIt doesn’t cast normal light, it has 3 LEDs that shine light in 3 directions. If it would shine light like a normal bulb then you could get away with it looking like a camera. But the way the light shines would make anyone look at the bulb to try and figure out what’s wrong with it. Then they would see it’s a camera.

I love that this camera is bulb shaped. I had no problem getting it connected. Some alert vids will show up even if you dont have a cloud account nor an SD card. The light is not as bright as i would like for a motion detector light. The app iCSEE app was fine.I want more from a camera than just a bottom view since my use will be outside. Also the alerts did not seem to catch me walking in front of it but did catch lots of shadow changes. Perhaps if i played with the app more i could have dialed it in.

The camera is difficult to set up. I downloaded the ICee app on my phone ,the camera refuses to connect to my Wi-Fi.Will make other attempts to configure, if it doesn't work i will return.

This item does not work. It never lights up, and instead only flickers if you wiggle it around. I tried 3 different bulb receptacles and it did the same in every one. It starts with a Chinese voice saying "Powering on" then a English voice says "Waiting for configuration". The device is NEVER seen by the WiFi router! If the WiFi cannot see it, how are you supposed to configure it. When you remove the top of the plastic housing you can see the internal components and it looks cheaply made.The bulb housing is cheap and does not even resemble like a light bulb. The camera is placed directly in the center of the housing and is easily noticed. The device was never able to save images or video.The box shows a iPhone and a image as if the bulb can connect to the phone, but the phone could never see the bulb either.This is a scam product, do not buy!
