Good product for the money

The only reason I did not give a 5 star honestly was because over 90% of the cutouts of the holes were still in the holes. I had to get a small pair of needle nose pliers to pull them all out.It is plastic so be aware of that.Overall it is an OK product for what I was looking for.

Spend 1 hour just taking foam from holes. Looks like machine that make foam holes leaves most of it still intact and one has to yank out each foam from hole. Also latch is flimsy, and the hinges (2 out of 3) where loose. Maybe it was my order that came out bad. But this product did not work out for me. Planning to return it

Super flimsy

In general it's a pretty good case but it's not perfect. The plastic is not bad it's sort of a medium weight. It's thick enough that it doesn't feel too flimsy but thin enough to have some flex and not be overly heavy (weight wise). It's fairly similar to the medium range tackle box organizers. The lid locks well and stays locked which is perfect, the locks are pretty good quality as well. It also has three hinges which are very nicely done. Now I haven't tested it for water but it is resistant to rain and splashes. It has a decent lip maybe 1/4" that the lid overhangs but there is no seal. In fairness they do list it as resistant not waterproof and I'd say that's a fair way to put it.It's also a decent size so make sure you check that, as it's about the size of a old style laptop, basically it's far bigger than my Samsung Chromebook. So it's going to be very limited in fitting in a pack if one has plans to use it that way. Personally I plan to keep it in my safe to aid in storage space and could see myself getting quite a few more. It's great as well for reloading as it's easy to label or storing empty brass. The foam is far better than the ones that just use plastic spacing, as there's far less rattle. I like it far more than some of the older cases I have due just to the fact it doesn't rattle like a box of legos when picked up or move.I highly recommend it, the large size is great for me as I don't have to have a bunch of smaller cases and just really appreciate how low the noise level is.

Overall, this is a decent ammunition box that holds a lot of rounds, is fairly compact, and is sufficiently padded internally. But the plastic feels kinda flimsy and almost all the punched holes in the padding still have the excess material in them, so you'll have to manually remove those. It gets the job done for a low price, but there are sturdier options around.
