This item is in no way worth it’s asking price. The black spots are just stickers and they’re not even centered. The cube itself feels quite cheap as the base structure wobbles about. Speed cubes half as expensive as this one hold together and slide without feeling like they’re falling to pieces. I spend more time trying to keep this plastic regret aligned than I do solving it.

This is a very fun 3 x 3 cube, it has brilliant colors and unique textured finger tip point of contact which makes it fun to hold in your hand. This particular cube is much smoother than the basic 3 x 3 toy, however it is very loose when I first opened the package and tightening it must be done carefully to not over tighten one side more than the others. I do not believe this is a good cube for a beginner but it will teach someone how to hold the cube properly to gain speed once a person knows the basics of solving a 3 x 3 cube. The difference in texture makes it fun to work with as a substitute to my regular cubes.

I don't understand all these negative reviews! These cubes feel really good. You can get smooth moves and corner cuts no problem. I bought two sets accidentally, but am happy to have them both. On one set I peeled off all the black stickers and I love the pastel colors! I really don't think there is any reason to give these a poor rating, assuming you got a new product (I saw one review that said they received a used product packaged as new).

The product is used. Few segments are peeling off. Just one cube was in the original plastic wrap. Some of the parts are dirty.
