I have used many pull saws over the years, but none of them were as good as this one. It is by far the best one I have ever used. It has a wicked sharp blade, and it stays sharp for a long time, through many uses. The blade is nice and flexible to allow super close cuts without marring adjacent surfaces. This is now the only pull saw I will use.

I love this saw! I build theater sets and find this very useful for trimming places where you cannot get a power saw into. It easily goes through a 2 x 4, plywood, PVC pipe or trim. I have not tried a Japanese pull saw at 3 times the price, but I am super satisfied with the quality, sharpness and longevity of the blade. You can also get replacement blades. I also have a course blade version of this saw I use for tree trimming.

Great tool. I bought it alongside the BS250D and now realize that I did not need to get both, but this is still a great too to have and I can be a bit more rough with it than my double sided saw. I mainly use it for quickly cutting through rough 2x4s.

This saw was recommended by artisans who work with bamboo so I took their advice and purchased-it's perfect for that a probably many other jobs. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because, in spite of searching, I cannot find a replacement blade for it - I was quite certain when I purchased there was a link to the blades.

I've just replaced my old BS265M after years of very hard use, mainly cutting old framing in hard-to-reach places. It's a precision tool (fine cut, narrow kerf), but cuts fast and tough too. The old one still cuts pretty well.

Not too sharp.

I use these for precision pruning of my various woody plants around the yard. Don't cringe, all you carpenters. 😄 it's actually still effective for cutting wood and certain other materials. Just make sure you keep it clean.

This is one of my favorite tools. Use it for all kinds of stuff. Just completed a bench using this as the main saw.
