Our dog drinks water very fast, and ends up throwing it up on the floor. Not only does this cut down on splashing, it also forces our dog to drink slower! It doesn't slide around and holds more water than expected. Overall, this bowl has great value for the price! Thumbs up from me!

I bought this and never had drops of water on my floor again works great easy to refill and keeps my floor clean would highly recommend.

I have been very pleased with how well this has kept water spilling off my floor. Regular open waterers for dogs allow a lot of water to be lapped at one time causing a drool path through the house. With this waterer I have little to no clean up. I can push it across the floor without it jostling and spilling! We use one in our camper to keep the water mess down and now we don't need a towel under the water dish. We have Labs and they used to make a giant mess. The only down side we have found is when we go to pack the camper water dish away to travel it holds water in the float so you can't pack it sitting sideways. It has to stay flat.

Got this bowl for my two dogs bc I was tired of them getting water all over the place every time they got a drink. It really cuts down on the splashing and this size is perfect for not having to refill every five minutes. Not sure if the filter actually really does anything if I’m being honest but I replace it every couple of months anyway.The one thing I will say if you buy this is THE FLOATING COVER COMES APART AND CLEAN IT!!! The way it’s made, I didn’t know that it came apart until I was washing it one day and noticed the pieces were loose. I had to pry it open with a butter knife and once I popped it open I felt so bad because there was mold or mildew inside. Thankfully, my dogs never got sick and now I know better.

Dog has been drinking from a rabbit bottle for over 10 years. Rabbit bottle broke and we could not find one that did not leak. Bought this dish and dog took to it as soon we put it down. No problems,

I originally tried to purchase XL and ended up with large. I am not sure what happened. The company seem to not sell XL any more because I keep checking website and see nothing. I bought a simple black flower stand and have raised the bowl for my large Great Danes. I put a cap full of apple cider vinegar (1 tsp) in the bowl just because my dogs are messy and backwash really bad into the bowl and it helps keep water fresh. This bowl helps them slow down and drink. I use a separate pitcher to fill it up which I think is easier and then clean it out every few days. I really like it.UPDATE: I purchased this is june and it is now august. The grey lid that you see in the picture fills up with water and its a solid piece of plastic. It is not designed to be opened so you can't open and clean it. It could make dogs sick if there is bacteria and slime building ups inside which is entirely possible if your dogs back wash like mine do. inside. If you shake it its just full of water and it leaks back into his water dish. The filter is completely irrelevant to me as I drink the same tap water my dog does so I don't see a need for any filter. I also don't see the filter really doing anything. Its more gimmick to me anyway. So now we are only using the white dish and once again back to slurping up water. Its been to long for an exchange now. I don't know if mine was defective or if they all do that? I will try to load a video for your own personal review.

The product works well and our dogs seem to drink more water with this bowl. The one downside is trying to clean the inside of the middle plastic floating top. It’s very hard to open and requires a butter knife or something small to wedge it open. Water gets trapped inside it, so it’s not sanitary. We plan to upgrade to an all stainless steel version for cleanliness.

I bought this for my golden retriever who always drinks water way too fast and would make a mess of the area where the bowl was. Since I started using this my pup drinks water more like a gentleman and has prevented him from throwing up like he used to do in the past. My younger golden loves to tip over a conventional dog bowl and he has yet to tip this one over and I can’t see that happening with how sure footed the bowl is. Also love the capacity which has reduced my trips to get water. One thing to note: I opted out of using the “water filter” disk supplied as I didn’t want one more thing to replace, both pups would drink toilet water or puddle water if I let them but this dog bowl solves a lot of issues and highly recommend it to anyone, wish I had one of these years ago.

This water bowl is amazing. Firstly my dog doesn't make himself sick anymore from downing too much water. Secondly my dog has spits where teeth never grew in and he used to get water all over the house. Now it is minimal mess. Love it so much I bought a second one for my husband's man cave. Super easy to clean and put together.

This is a great product to control the flow of water and for carrying around on road trips. The design keeps water from splashing out of the bowl. Our dog figured out that if he pushes the floating platform down with his nose, he can get more water out of the bowl. However, he only does that when he is really thirsty. Usually he slurps water from the center and keeps the mess to a minimum. The clean-up is super easy and because only a small portion of the water is exposed to the outside, it doesn't get dirty as easily. Make sure to replace the water 1-2 times a day though because it will get stinky very quickly if drool stays in there overnight (with or without the filter ring)
