Only if you shoot handheld with no straps
It works, but I have to remove it to attach the camer to a tripod (or anything else), where other "cases" have another screw opening for tripods and such built into the case. Other than that, I like it.

Replace the screw to make it perfect
The base works fine on the A6000 for increasing the grip. It looks great and feels solid.Taking off 1 star due to the lack of tripod compatibility in the screw. I did a workaround, got a 1/4 male to 1/4 female screw and replaced the original. Now it’s perfect for me..

Love the look on my sony 6000!
I love this base. It's saved the camera several times from my reckless handling. It also gives it a great look and weight.I plan to order more for my other camera.

Doesn’t fit at all
I’ve never written a bad review but this was the worst thing I’ve ever purchased. It didn’t fit at all. Once I screwed it on and tried to make it work, the battery lid is stuck closed.

Wrong Item Description
Does NOT fit Sony a6300. Roommate has a a6000 and it fits fine.

Good but could be great!
I received this product at a discount in exchange for an honest review.I've had my sony a6000 for over a year now and have been really happy with it. However I did wish that the grip was just a tad bigger on the camera. When I was able to try the bamboo grip in exchange for a review I was pretty excited to try it out.Out of the box it's a nice looking addition to the camera. It's made out of a light piece of bamboo designed to attach to the bottom of the camera. Opening the box the little screw fell out and onto my carpet. I hadn't realized this until it was time to attach the grip and I was going crazy trying to figure it out. Came here and saw that there was little metal screw to attach it. Went upstairs and found it.Once attached I did like how the camera felt in my hand. My pinky finger sticks a little more but it helps with the grip. I know some others don't like it but I don't mind. The grip does not line up perfectly with the tripod mount so there was a little finagling to do to get it on and there are some gaps around the grip area. (See Photos) Given that I live in a high humidity area I left the grip and camera in a room with a dehumidifier to see if it was just warped due to the humidity but after two days it was still the same.I have to say that I do like the grip but it needs to fit the camera better. I would have to agree that for the price the grip should fit perfectly. A thread should be added so you don't have to take it off to attach the camera to a tripod. It's a really nice product and it does have some use but to make it great it needs some fine tuning.

This wasn't for me.
I was given this product at a discount for an honest review. In keeping with that, I will be completely transparent. There are several issues I have with this grip.1. The grip does not feel ergonomic. I don't have huge hands, and have never really felt the Sony A6000 was difficult to use because of it's small size, but this grip feels less ergonomic to me than just the camera.2. The grip does not allow me to use my tripod, or-- as another reviewer commented-- to keep my slide attached for the tripod (which is incredibly convenient, and I usually leave it on there all of the time.)3. The grip itself is light, but feels cheaply made and unfinished. The screw that keeps it attached does not actually stay in by itself when not using the grip, which means you are incredibly likely to lose it.4. The grip makes the viewfinder restricted. I can no longer manipulate the viewfinder fully as I often do.For these reasons, I am not satisfied with this product. I will not be using it at all, and may just end up giving it to someone who wants to try it or throwing it away. I would be very disappointed had I spent the full price on this item; as this is certainly not worth $70.00.To the seller, I hope you can take this review and use it as a tool to better your product.
