So I purchased this carburetor a few months ago and purposely did not write a review until I got a few miles on it. So today I have 2000 miles on and wow!! Was easy to install, ran correctly right out of the box and runs great period. Idles great and I’m getting 21 mpg on a 1600cc VW engine. I also purchased one for my 1956 VW Bug. It also runs great.

Makes my bug go but is a bad rendition of the original i took of a 1971. Won't last long but i have put about 100 sporadic miles on it and it still starts. But i don't trust it to last.

Armar un producto nuevo y de muy buena calidad es mas facil que arreglar uno viejo.Yo desarme el carburador completamente para estar seguro que no està fallado. Lo encontré super limpio y todas las partes de alta calidad. Lo armé e instalé y funciona perfectamente.

missing extra jets and hardware, the 12mm nuts go in the trash can anyway but the jets are a must. Greasy out of the box with studs already installed has me to believe they resold me someone elses return. This car is my primary transport so as long as the carb functions correctly I know can make i work. Bolt it up and engine starts right away but sounds wonky, check my sources of vacuum leaks and the throttle bushings are pulling in lots of air from both sides. i've got to have this car on the road so not as simple as just sending it back. I call vendor and get no answer so left a detailed message and never got a response.
