VARTARechargeable Batteries Photo Accu NiMH 1.2 Volt 2 x AAA Pack

These are not really what is advertised. I could have bought something cheaper but was tired of charging batteries ready for future use and always finding them depleted when it actually came to using them. So I bought a pack of 4 of these to power an electric toothbrush.21 days after receiving them they were required but NONE of them had any charge in them. So they either do not hold a charge or they were never charged in the first place.I tried to contact the seller via Amazon but received a bounced back email saying the seller email system could not be reached. I could not find my message within the Amazon massaging centre so contacted Amazon via Chat. They were excellent and refunded the cost with no further questions asked. Amazon, star; LED-ART, black hole.

Went out today with these with me for kids toy grandson takesout weith him, other batteries went flat so put these "pre-charged" batteries in and guess what they were dead as a dodo!! Put them on a volt meter when got home and ZERO volts registered, can buy decent pre charged batteries from Lidl so dont consider these very gppd value at all, question now is will they take a charge and actally work after that- the jury is out will post more when the charge cycle has finished but have a very nasty feeling about these batteries!!

I bought these in October but have just opened the packet yesterday. The batteries had no charge at all so, either they were not pre-charged as advertised OR they lost their charge over an 8 week period?I tried to charge them in my 'Amazon basics battery charger' but constantly getting 'Bad cell detection' and unable to charge them. Not sure what the problem is but, at this stage, they are useless to me.

I've read a fair number of negative comments about these batteries but I can honestly say with confidence the experience I've had with these batteries are nothing but positive.I purchased a professional charging, diagnostic battery station and these batteries are more then capable of holding a full charge and lasting years of heavy use. It's highly likely those with poor experience have had a bad batch or have not charged them using a high quality charger.I use the batteries to run a powerful LED Lenser torch and they don't disappoint, the output is 100% I have yet to see any depreciation in their output or capacity.

Buyers beware! I hope this review helps. I bought these batteries 2 months ago and Ive only just had a chance to place a review. These batteries are useless. I've tried charging them a several times to be used in a head torch and they hardly hold any charge at all, apart from a minute or two of usage. I paid £5.48 and cant justify time or cost to return them. So unfortunately they will have to be disposed of. kind regards.

I ordered four packs of four and other than 2 batteries that refused to charge, the others are working well. They hold a full charge for quite a while and don't drain too quickly when they are used. An obvious choice rather than standard non-rechargeable batteries.

Bought to replace batteries in DECT phones which were getting crackly and unreliable. after several years use. Bingo. Totally transformed them. Feeling v stupid for not having realised you needed to change batteries - ours had done at least 4 years. No idea about longevity of these batteries, but v pleased so far.

I didn't like anything about these batteries. I have always found Varta products excellent - including some AA rechargeables I bought earlier in 2018, but these are absolute rubbish, failing to hold a charge at all. Bin Job!!!
