Funny, rhyming book
A rhyming good time can be found inside this book as friend’s moose, goose and mouse decide to go house hunting. Moose, goose and mouse are miserable inside the house that they share together and from the looks of it (illustration), it’s been patched and repaired plenty of times and still the rain is coming inside their home. Mouse would like a new house that is sunny, moose wants a funny house, and goose wants a house that has a bunny. They decided to jump into a caboose on a train, in the rain to begin their search. All three of them immediately liked the caboose and settle in for the ride. As they start up the first hill, the rope tying them to the engine breaks and they go flying down the hill. Up and down they. The caboose is loose. Are they scared? From the looks of it, they are having the best time until it stops! They’re far away from home but……..this might be exactly what they’re looking for. This was a cute, funny book that I think kids will enjoy. The rhyming was not forced and it was not crazy rhyming either. I enjoyed the illustrations as they complimented the text, like a zany entertaining time. A note from Jeff Mack at the back of the book was a sweet tribute to Mordicai Gerstein. 5 stars

Wonderful, cute and fun
I am so surprised this book isn’t better known- it’s really cute and fun, has fun rhyming, and is beautifully illustrated. My son loved the repetitive nature and laughed the entire book. Highly recommended
