Exceeds expectations!
The media could not be loaded. Was iffy about buying a $60 Stabilizer for my Nikon D7100, but this is an amazing product. Had to remove the four smaller weights (leaving only the two big ones on) to balance it correctly. So, I assume this stabilizer could easily handle the added weight of a shoe-mounted shotgun mic. Quick set up (with help from videos on YouTube) easy to use. It'll take some practice to get it perfect but already off to a quick start.Highly recommend for anyone doing DSLR video.

Does NOT include a manual, but is good quality.
I just cant bring myself to give anything that doesn't come with a manual a rating any higher than 3 stars. Not everyone knows how to use the equipment they are buying and a company shouldn't just assume that someone will know how to use it. I knew how to use this product and how to balance it, but that doesn't mean everyone else will. It hardly costs anything to include a paper manual. As for the construction, the product is made of metal which is a plus as far as durability goes. It is a bit heavier than the other stabilizers that are made from carbon fiber and what not, but that is expected, and I prefer something that will withstand elements and being tossed around.Balancing this stabilizer wasn't as easy as some of the others I have used in the past but for the cost ($60.00) you get what you pay for. I am satisfied with my purchase and I would have given the product 5 stars, but it didn't include a manual which is in my opinion is rude.

Recommend a shoulder harness
Too heavy and was not able to properly balance the camera. Recommend a shoulder harness.

I will recommend this product to any videographer professional and nonprofessional
I will recommend this product to any videographer professional and nonprofessional. It is easy to mount and to balance when you follow the instructions. To get a faster and better balance i will suggest using a stand to do the adjustment. I am happy with the price and the final result. My friend purchased a $500.00 glidecame the result are pretty similar. Thanks to Fotowelt.

Good buy for the money.
Good buy for the money. There are some big issues from keeping this from getting a better rating from me. My biggest issue is how close the handle is to the mounting plate. I have issue with the handle bumping it during a shot. I wish the gimble height was adjustable.
