Worked great first time using them
Wasn't sure if they'd work, so I bought to try. I wasn't disappointed. Ran a half trail marathon run in them and they worked great!!

Quick Lace, Strong Lock
If you want to keep the loops on the laces it’s a little difficult to feed them through the lock but it’s doable. The laces feel strong and are very narrow diameter. I put them into my ski boot liners and they do not take up much space underneath my shells so you don’t feel any unwanted pressure when you tuck them away.

"Natural" is as bright as the sun
Only real complaint for this listing (why are these so hard to find!) is the terrible description and photos. Natural is white. Whiter than my white car in the sun. Whiter than the pure un-tinted white we use for trim around here. Not "natural" (beige, etc) as expected. These are clearly proper Salomon QuickLaces as usual. Little instruction sheet inside, same molding, same lace materials, etc.

I hate shoelaces but these are great
I use these on the shoes I use for Ultras... they even work good as regular laces did not untie when I was forced to use them that way installation is a pain in the butt but nowhere near the problem of re tying your laces repeatedly especially when tired in the middle race by the way the shoes I usually use are altra or salming not Solomon

Impossible to Install and Don't Fit My Salomon Trail Runners
The original tiny strings that came with my shoes were WAY too long and kept flopping out. I bought these thinking I could shorten them. WRONG! The grommets on the shoes are too narrow for these although they say they fit all Salomon footwear, and even if the laces could go through the grommets, I coudn't figure out how to get the locking thingy to lock and there are no instructions. So I threaded the laces under the grommets where they won't last but at least I can use the shoes. My letter to Salomon will follow.

Confusing instruction, off brand, will work
These are definitely knock off brand laces not made by Saloman. After a frustrating 40 minutes I was able to get these laced up.BEWARE:There is no videos you'll find online to install these laces as they are not official Saloman.Helpful Hint for install:The sliding mechanism doesn't come apart, but you can slide up the middle of the device exposing lace through holes. There are springs that push the device back down to lock in the laces. Just play with the mechanism and know there is a spring loaded slide that doesn't require much Power to slide that the laces will slide through. If I knew that, or there was proper instructions, this would've taken about 20 minutes instead of 40.

... into your hands and made tightening the laces annoyingly painful. Got these and haven't looked back
My winter boots had really thin laces that really dug into your hands and made tightening the laces annoyingly painful. Got these and haven't looked back, love'em.

Does the trick
Sometimes laces are weak point for Salomon. So replace! This kit isn’t perfect replacement but actually is a bit better with more options. Did the trick for me and my speedcross 4 are back on the trail.

Breathed new life to trustworthy old Salomons
Brilliant product. Straightforward - but time-consuming - to fit. It took me 1/2 hr to fit them to my well-worn (10+ years) Salomons but once fitted, they look boss and will surely allow me to get an extra few years out of my trusty shoes.
