Ease of use
I have never personally bore sighted in a rifle, so I was a little concerned that I would be able to get this laser to work properly for me. Within one hour of receiving this product on my doorstep, I had my 270 sighted in at 50 yards. The directions (4 easy steps, one of which is installing the battery) are very plain and simple, if you follow them, you should not have any difficulty at all. There is only a very minor detail that might take you a little time to figure out. On the attachments opposite end of the screw, there is a number indicating which attachment it is. Of course, the smaller the attachment, the less room that there is to print a number on it, so I laid out all attachments on the table from smallest to largest and selected the third smallest one, and everything worked perfectly. There is a chart that associates the number attachment with the caliber, for instance, I used the #3 attachment for a 270 caliber.

Works well!
I had a chance to use this bore sight on several of my rifles and it worked well. I had an issue with the bore sight coming out of true and it was quickly resolved with their customer service dept. with in a couple of days I received a new one. I used it out doors(in low light) to sight in at 100yrds and the laser(green)was easy to see, and at the indoor ranges(30yrds) it again was easy to see.

Is not straight, but does get you on paper
Comes with 2 x packages of various size inserts to fit all the calibers. However, the size is a raised extrusion on the plastic insert and is hard to see with older eyes (have to zoom in with my phone camera). Once the appropriate size insert in installed and the laser is inserted into the barrel, you need to turn the laser in order to expand the insert until it's a snug, but not overly tight, fit. But the laser is still not centered as when you rotate the laser, it draws a circle on your target. I mark the laser location on the target and then rotate the laser 180 deg and mark that location and then draw a line connecting the two and mark a cross hair half way between. Laser is probably only good for 25 yds in daylight. At 25 yds, you want to sight in above that midpoint about half the distance between your scope and the barrel (i.e. ~3/4"). That should put the crosshairs right on target at 50 yds which would put the bullet on target about 175-200 yds, round dependent of course.

It reached out 165 yards so….
You know when I went to site it in it reached out 165 yards because that’s the only thing I could say it in that out at my house in the country. I was quite amazed and it would probably go a lot further because it was bright and that was during the day. What I learned with a laser bore scope is this. Once you get your rifle sided in on the target, put your borescope back in to see where the borescope sits whether you have to put it at 90° 180° or 270° then you’ll know where to put it in at on a Barrel to be accurate. And that’s your tip of the day.

Great Investment
I was having some issues with my MOS Glock 45. Long story short, I had to remove and reinstall my red dot optic 4 times. After using a bunch of ammo and range time to rezero, I figured I’d give the bore laser a shot. Zeroed my optic at home in just 5 minutes. Went to the range after and I was spot on. I’m glad I made this purchase.

Does not have a magnet to hold steady once inside barrel
You get what you pay for. The adapters don't fit tight in the barrel. There is no magnet to help hold it inside barrel. Any tiny bump.and it goes off center. Used for a .510 caliber. Used the 50 to 55 caliber adapter wouldn't actually fit properly. Tightened down as much as possible and still to lose. After some time and adjustment I finally got on the paper. Waste of time.

EASE OF USE
I have reviewed numerous video presentations on the use of the tool at 10 yards for an initial "get me on paper". The presentation in the enclosed product was clear and to the point. Many presentations are wrapped around "hokes-pokes" points to make mysterious/hard to comprehend presentations. Upon understanding the clearly expressed instructions the FIRST TIME, I was amazed at how easy the process was to complete. One thing that one may need to review prior to exercising the instructions is to look up what "chamber to scope" measurement is and how to perform it.
