Uncle Mike's Off-Duty and Concealment Kodra Sidekick Holster, Black

Got this for a S & W 5906 and the fit seems to be very good, maybe just a little snug but should loosen up. I guess I'm surprised it fit so well.

A good cheap holster. It's a bit bulky when you're carrying OWB but it's better than nothing. I was able to fit my Sarsilmaz SAR9 and CM9 Gen 2 in it and carried them in it until I bought proper kydex holsters for them.

Pros: The holster is as advertised, and fit my gun (after breaking it in, see below). Good quality for an Uncle Mike's. I don't see this wearing out anytime soon.Cons: A little tight and small for the gun I was told it would fit (FNX-40) Had to use the blow dryer to heat up the nylon to make it fit properly. Long process I don't care to repeat. Its still a little snug, but it doesn't pull the whole holster out when I draw anymore. A little more breaking in and it will be much better.Thoughts: I don't know if I would buy it again given the opportunity, break-in was a pain. For the size pistol its made for (full size semi-autos) I can't see anyone wearing this in-waist-band and it being comfortable. I'll use it for open carry at the range and leave it at that for now.

I really want to like this holster more but I just can't give it more than a 3 star. Right now I have a FNS-9 in it which is a double stack 9mm with a 4 inch barrel (similar in footprint to a Glock 19). Even putting a fair amount of force on the gun it just will not sit far down in the holster enough to balance it when either used on a belt or with the clip. And while the belt loop subject is up, don't plan on using it with a belt if the belt is anything more than an inch wide at most. The clip however is pretty secure. As far as construction goes it definitely is sturdy enough, to the point that the materials are so stiff it may be working against the product, and not allowing it to conform to the profile of different firearms. Adjustment of the straps is kind of a pain but once it is set I can't see a reason to change it unless switching to a different firearm. All in all it is a holster and does its job, I wish I had a single stack pistol to try out in it and see if it works better, but that's not an option at the moment.Also as a side note, the supplier I ordered it from through Amazon took more than a week over the projected delivery date to get it to me. That is not reflected in this review for the rating.

I'm giving 4 stars because this appeared to be a very well made holster. Very similar to a Blackhawk I have owned for a couple years. I bought this because I bought another handgun and this was a little cheaper. Unfortunately this holster did not work for it. It was way too tight. I thought about the hair dryer or heat gun method others mentioned, but figured I'd buy the Blackhawk again as it fit perfectly. And yes, I bought this because it listed the handgun I purchased as 'will fit'

Delivered as promised. I was looking for something to protect a 4.25 1911 w/rail. I took the belt clip off and either throw it in the console or in my bag when I travel. It's a little tight but it serves the purpose with the added bonus of carrying an extra mag.

I bought this to carry my XD45 when traveling. The fit is tight, literally on the edge of it not fitting. The first time you use it you're going to have to leave the clip out of the front storage to make it fit. I leave the gun in it for weeks on end to hopefully stretch it.If this is the style you're looking for I believe this is the biggest size. So for travel its fine; any actual off duty usage.. I would stay away from it.

A very snug fit for the Taurus PT-638 .380 ACP but will work until I can find a proper holster. Very hard finding gun specific holsters as almost every manufacturer has a list a mile long of what guns fit in one holster based on dimensions.
