The cutting edge minimalist answer
The media could not be loaded. This knife is the best light weight minimalist solution I have held in my hands in years. First, it is sharp as a shaving 🪒 razor right out of the box 📦 Second, the knife is completely ambidextrous which is HUGELY important if you actually do find yourself in an emergency situation. Third, it is a minimalist dream: Blade, handle, lock, clip, period the end. Everything you need and nothing you don’t. The technology is there in the material and design, but there are no gimmicks. It is all practicality. Forth the clip and footprint of this blade is comfortable out of pocket in a waistband, a coat pocket, a sleeve, or a sock, and it can transition discretely and rapidly. Finally, if you are familiar with modern folders and have a little skill, this knife will open and close for you like a dream. I would classify this knife as a light duty, urban/ industrial knife that could do some bush craft, but that’s not what it’s meant for. Love it!

Amazingly light weight!
My EDC! So light you forget you're wearing it. I have almost put it through the wash a few times now since i sometimes forget its on my gym shorts! Great for wearing during a night run or when you don't want to be weighed down. Great blade, well made knife! Super glad I got it.. Only wish i would have seen this sooner. And the carbon fiber looks awesome!

Oddly worth the price!!
Purchased after seeing some very good reviews and videos... lived up to every expectation! At 1.16 oz. (33g) it is a featherweight for sure but feels solid in the hand. Super thin and stiff for pure carbon fiber scales with no metal subframe visible. The bar lock works well but time will tell if the coil spring (not the familiar "omega" spring setup) is durable. The most difficult part of dealing with this knife is going to be not losing it... I would definitely buy it again... it's not a cheap knife in any respect but considering the design and materials think it is worth the price.

Great concept but two big flaws
I was thrilled to find a S35VN ultra light weight knife with carbon scales and crossbar lock. Its pretty much my dream specs in a knife. Out of the box the knife looks amazing. Sadly once you dig a big the two big flaws rear their head. First is that huge, too deep carry, pocket clip. I know they say it doubles as a money clip but just not my style and I doubt many others either. They should have added a normal Ti or spring steel clip that tops off at the end of the knife. Second, and the deal breaker that had me return the knife, was they use paper thin and flimsy Teflon blade washers. This is a major fail and really unacceptable in a nearly 100$ knife. They should have used thin bronze washers like 90% of other knives use, even cheap ones!! With a little modding this knife could be awesome. I just was not in the mood to spend that amount and then more time and money.

Goes with me everywhere!
Very nice tool. I can carry it all day without it becoming a burden. Sharp and very very thin.

Twice! The worst quality knives I have ever purchased!
Straight out the sealed box it was obvious the blade so was badly off centre any time you closed it the blade would cut into the carbon frame. I disassembled the knife to check the assembly and found that one of the teflon washers was totally destroyed (see pic)! I literally had not used this knife at all, not once! All this happened from opening the Sog from the sealed box. I should add at this point that for the disassembly I used high quality Wiha bits. The coating on the pivot was so bad it just wiped off (see pic). The screws were so soft that 2 of them stripped. I had some spare teflon washers, so replaced them thinking the blade would be centred after that... nope, still so far off centre to the right that it cuts into the carbon body. The blade is also centred so badly that when deploying the blade the side of the blade scrapes on the inside of the carbon body and scuffs off the coating on the blade (see pic towards the tip grind). Great idea, massive fail on the execution. Maybe I got a dud, don't care, for a company like Sog this is pathetic. I literally have never received such a dysfunctional / poorly built knife ever.WARNING!!! So to make matters worse, I purchased 3 of these, 1 was for myself, 2 for fiends. Mine was completely faulty as per the pics, one that I gave to my friend also has one of these chips in the middle of the blade- from brand new out the box! Another buyer / review had the same problem- big chip in the middle of the blade straight out of a sealed box. All 3 boxes were sealed and unopened. These knives are not going through any kind of QC. If they were anyone would pick up on the defects! DO NOT BUY!!!!Sent back to Amazon for a refund.

Expectations vs Reality
When I saw this I was very intrigued. A super slim lightweight EDC knife sounded great. What I got was pretty disappointing. The main issue with what I got was that there was a chip on the blade. I get that a small chip might not be a big deal but brand new out of the box, for the price that it is, and the company that it is I wouldn't expect this quality. Now this was probably a one off occurrence. Unfortunately for me Amazon didn't have another to replace it with so i had to return it.Now for what i thought about it out of the box was it was very light weight! It looks great and pretty sure would be a nice one to carry on the reg. It was a little stiff to fold out but probably after time it would loosen up more. The edges seemed a little sharp/unfinished which made holding it not as comfortable on top of the size being different than most knives. I feel like after a little bit you would get use to it. If you want to try something different I would say go for it but if you're use to normal/bigger knives this might take some getting use to.

Nice knife.
Still happy with it. Blade is holding it's edge well. The clip is "grabby" though. It likes to snag on things & pull the knife out of my pocket. Almost lost it TWICE; really amazing that I didn't actually. So, it is now a totally "in the pocket knife". But, as how it's super slim & lite - still no issues.*********Thin, light & sharp as s&$).Mine has a pretty tight action- will need to wear it in to make opening easily "flipable".
