Quite GOOD!
Sonds great! Tuners are good. Mohagony. No joke. Really good wood. Ofcourse, the strings had to stretch, (I just got it.) But, I played it for about one and a half hours. The tuning was hanging in at the end. It comes with a tuner; I was watching that while the strings were seating. I usually play concert and saprano, so this is the biggest uke I've bought. I really like the size. There is PLENTY of room in the frets. The tone isn't much different from a concert -- just comfortably larger. I like it alot! I recommend it. Good solid sound. (I mostly played B. Marley on it tonight, because it sounded right. "No Woman No Cry.") Check it out. Seems exceptionally good quality for the price. I know it would have $100, or more at Guitar Center. Hope this helped. PWP.S. The tuner takes a CR2032 battery. I don't think one came with. I've been wrong before...once -- a long time ago. Make sure you have one when it arrives.🙂

Excellent value for a beginner uke!
I was given one of these ukes in a concert size as a gift from a fellow uke player who likes to decorate them as gifts. She apologized that it was “just a cheap uke”, but I was impressed with the sweet sound of it and thought the quality was very nice!I have helped many people find great beginner ukes and this Ulumac is on my list of top suggestions. I saw a coupon deal for the tenor and ordered it for a friend who was looking. I don’t think you could find a better deal on a quality tenor uke! It looks and sounds great, intonation is good (check for GCEA at the 12th fret) and comes with everything you need to start playing, plus a very nice padded bag!I only have a couple of complaints but because the price of this tenor uke is under $60, they wouldn’t deter me from recommending it at all, it’s just good information to know. There is no battery included for the tuner, so make sure you have a CR2032 button battery on hand. Also, the tuner pegs on the uke are a little tight, but unless you go to a much higher price point, cheap tuners are the norm, and these tune up just fine. A new uke won’t stay in tune for long because the strings need to stretch, so play it and tune it often and in a week or so it will stay in tune. I tend to tune a new uke a little sharp each time just to stretch the strings faster, then just play it a lot!I have seen some complaints that there is just one strap button on this uke, but that is because it ties to the headstock just like a guitar strap. You can add an additional strap button (included with many straps) to the neck, but many people don’t recommend drilling into the neck of an instrument-personal choice n that. While I find the included wide strap pretty plain, it’s soft and should make playing more comfortable. If you like using a strap, you can find many inexpensive, colorful options on Amazon.Overall, for the quality, price, and accessories, this is now one of my top recommendations for those looking for a first uke, or experienced players looking for an inexpensive take-along instrument that plays great!

HIGHLY Recommended
Long story short; this is simply the best 'beginner' ukulele that I have ever played. Good looking, nice tone, and easy to play - right out of the box. This would also serve as a great practice instrument, for more experienced players. It is such a nice ukulele, at a great price, that if I didn't already have a dozen uke's in my collection, I could easily be tempted to buy another one!

Excellent Instrument - Tenor
Solid top, curved back, PLUS ALL the extras - at the best price. This is a perfect ukelele for a beginner uke player like me. A fickle musician, I like to start out at a low price and find an intermediate sound. This fit the bill! Tenor size, larger sound. Easier for larger people to handle with ease.*What you need to know about buying ANY stringed instrument. All strings need to be stretched. Especially nylon and nylon style strings. Nylon slips.IF YOU DO NOT STRETCH this SET OF NEW STRINGS -YOUR UKE will NOT STAY in tune. That's what I call user error. Don't fault the instrument!!As the owner of a new uke, find VIDEO about stretching new ukelele strings. DO THAT carefully. LEARN. After a day of special attention, your uke will stay in tune just fine. Again, uke strings slip by nature - that's why they come with the tuner!! *Stretching new strings will keep you playing all day with minimal tuning.*The strap is FINE. Google how to attach a ukelele strap to prevent user error.*The tuner is as stated. NO battery. Not a problem! Do you have an LED candle? Steal the metal button out of it. Have a junk drawer? Find the metal buttons that look like a coin. Odds are you HAVE the battery that looks like a metal button or magnet at home. The tuner is EXCELLENT. And necessary.I had an issue when the ukelele arrived and the very attentive seller solved it right away.I am very happy with this purchase. When you don't find these tenor specs for an affordable price, come back!! It's that good.

Aloha!
On my recent trip to Hawaii I was very interested in buying one but they were a little pricy. This is fantastic! Well made, sounds great and I love the case. Great buy!

Amazing for the price. Better sounding and playing than my $250 Kala Tenor
Please note that my review is for the "All Solid" Mahogany Tenor and not the Ulumac Solid Mahogany. You can tell the difference visually from both models as the "All Solid" has a round sound hole and the "Solid" has an oval sound hole.My "All Solid" arrived double boxed and well packed. Visually, the uke is flawless. A few of the fret ends were borderline edgy (not enough to be annoying), but not razor sharp like many of the inexpensive ukes out there. The balance of the uke is so nice. Out of the box, this uke was property set up - the 12th fret was at 2.5mm. Just tune it up and it's good to go.Playabilily is excellent - it's so easy to play and feels like an expensive uke from the music store. The sound is amazing from this uke and it has become my favorite over my $250 Kala Maca-T. It sounds better and plays better (to me) than my Kala.I've owned some other inexpensive brands like Horse, Victory, Donner, and I also have the "solid" Ulumac (with the oval sound hole) and this "All Solid" model is the best by far of all those.

Fun little uke.
I wanted something a little bigger than my kids school uke. It works great and didn’t cost an arm and a leg. The tuner that it came with is very useful for my bas and guitar as well.

very nice uke
Haven't played the ukulele in 50 years and thought it would be fun to take it up again. Very nice uke. Came well packaged. Took me a while to tune it and of course, broke the G string, but I replaced it. Digital tuner works well. Had to go on You Tube to figure out how to use it as I've never used one. Had all 4 strings tuned but last night had a hard time tuning C. Will tray again today. Read that it takes a while for the strings to acclimate so I'll have to keep tuning the strings for a few days but that's ok. Bought a chord book and beginner books to refresh my memory and skills. I just plan to have a little fun with it.

Great to learn on
It feels really nice and sounds good. The tuner is very handy as well for not only a uke. Very fun to learn and great to bring along on trips.Great value for a beginner like myself.

Great value!
I wanted a tenor ukulele but I didn't want to spend much. This kit cost under 60 dollars (Canadian) and has everything I needed. The fret ends were dressed well with no sharp edges, the action is a bit high but it's still very playable. Great value for the money and it sounds quite nice.
