1 in 4 from purchased Peltiers are dead
1 in 4 of the purchased Peltiers is not operating properly, it will not chill and stays only 2 degrees below the warm side. The other three go below 0 degrees and operate as they should. There doesn't seem to be a partial refund system in place on Amazon which is very irritating as they'll need to be sent back even though others work which will probably end up being dumped in landfill which is criminal.

Lasted only 8 weeks...
We have two wood burning stoves and each stove has a simple and effective thermoelectric fan to aid distribution of the heat. Both fans were about 3 years old and had stopped working and I couldn't detect any current flowing to their small electric motors and so surmised that the original thermoelectric pads had failed. The fitting of these new and apparently identical 'Youmile' thermoelectric pads was very easy. However, after about 8 or 9 weeks both fans stopped working. I have used a voltmeter to test the 'new' pads and there is now no detectable voltage out of the pads. Both have failed. The fans work perfectly if I link them directly to a 12v battery so the motors are okay ... but that's not the idea at all.100% failure rate.
