Great all-around waterproof jacket!
Love this jacket and was able to get it for a steal (less than $20!). I live in Seattle where it rains frequently and layering is essential, so I was looking for a basic waterproof shell-type jacket that I can wear most of the year (spring - early fall). The fit is great: I wear an XL and have big hips/bum and even Columbia's generous cut can sometimes still be too snug, but this jacket fits well. I can wear a shirt and a thin sweater/sweatshirt/fleece under it and there's still some room. I'm also 5'11" so the arm length and hip length is just right. I doubt I'll use it, but the waist-cinching is a nice feature if you want a slimmer silhouette. And the vented yoke on the back of the jacket will help keep me from overheating too much. Typical Columbia waterproof fabric, which I have found to work well and to be quite durable. I took off one star because the pockets are kind of small (I can barely fit more than my iPhone 6 in it) and the Bright Geranium color is brighter than pictured - really closer to hot pink (which I don't love, but again, for under $20, I'm not going to complain too much). All in all though, it's a great jacket and I'm excited to use it!

Truly Regretless - Worth The Extra Few Dollars
I put a lot of research into finding a raincoat that fit my (what I thought were basic) needs: actually waterproof, drawstrings, not super short, a bit of shape and lining (i.e., not just a poncho), hood, zipper closure. Wow did I have a tough time finding something that fit those criteria! I made the mistake of spending $13 less for a raincoat from Zeagoo which never arrived. After that, I ordered this product which arrived a few days later in mint condition. The color is quite nice and true to the picture and it meets all the criteria listed above. The reason this is receiving four stars instead of five is because it's a little overpriced and it's REALLY not breathable -- I know it's hard to make something waterproof and breathable at the same time, but the lack of breathability is pretty pronounced, even compared to waterproof raincoats I've owned in the past. P.S. I am on the tall side and my arms are a bit longer than usual, and this fit me PERFECTLY in my usual size, so beware if you're petite -- this might be a little long in the torso and the arms for you!

great jacket that cinches at waist!
great rain jacket, material feels nice. i havent used it in rain yet but i dont expect anything other than great quality from columbia. im 5'4", 110 lbs so any XS sized thing could potentially be too large and this one was just on the verge of being too large. it fits quite well thanks to its drawstrings at the waist which is one of the main things i was looking for in a rain jacket. i will be shifting the buttons on the sleeves to close tighter, but otherwise, its a cute and fashionable for a rain jacket! the color is like a baby blue mixed with a light purple. very nice.update: used in a downpour on a hike and it held up well for like 15 min until i could start feeling it on my skin. but thats like any other <$100 rain jacket, so thats what i expected. the main thing is that it doesnt get you wet under a normal rain. plus, when used in conjunction with an umbrella, its perfect.

... for quite some time and this was such a good price I couldn't pass it up
I have been looking for a rain jacket for quite some time and this was such a good price I couldn't pass it up. The original tag on the jacket said $110 and I bought it for $30 including shipping! I am 5'7'' and 225 lbs. I usually wear an XL or 1X depending on the material and fit. This jacket is just a tad too big but I thought it would be nice in the winter if I want to wear a hoodie or something underneath. The only complaints I have is that the arms are a big too long and the pockets are closed with buttons rather than zippers. Other than that this is a great rain jacket and a good price for a Columbia.

What I wanted
I needed a raincoat that was casual but still cute. I am 5'4" and weigh ~155 lbs but carry my weight around my hips. I purchased the medium size. The jacket is a little tight when fully zipped around my hip area but it is short enough that it doesn't make it hard to move my legs. The upper portion and sleeves are loose enough to wear a pretty bulky fleece sweatshirt underneath. My one real complaint is the sleeves are really long, but I'm pretty short and I'm sure they would be fine for most people. I'm including pictures of how it fits me for reference because I had trouble finding pictures of people wearing this jacket.

A little bigger than expected but good quality for the price
I like it. It's very light weight, but the fabric is kind of weird, crinkly feeling almost. However that might just be because I haven't washed or worn it yet. I ordered a medium and was worried it would end up being too small but honestly I feel like I could have ordered a small because it is bigger than expected. I'm 5'7 but this jacket is definitely longer in length and the sleeves are longer like others have said. I plan on wearing another coat under this most of the time and so the fit is perfect for that. All in all good jacket for the price.

Great jacket. A little tight on me
Great jacket. A little tight on me. I'm a 3x. It's sometimes hard to find quality stuff in my size without being ridiculously expense. I am very pleased that this was a decent price and fits and is water proof! Not just water resistant. It doesn't do a whole lot of breathing but that's okay with me because if I'm wearing it, I'm also usually cold and need to keep in the heat not just block out the rain.
