The unique style of martial arts is incredible. This book is the turning point in Katana's life. She has to learn to find herself so she can fully embrace her powers and abilities. I feel the author Ken has done a great job of preparing the characters for what's to come. The true battles in this series have only just begun! I highly recommend picking up this series! I wouldn't be surprised to see an award in this series future!

The author has done a wonderful job of preparing these characters for the trials will be facing. The book flows at a wonderful pace. The twists and turns catch you off guard but make sense. One particular twist at the end had me and upped the stakes for an excellent finish. I can't wait for the next installment.

Damn good. Start to finish. Loved it. Writing has evolved throughout series much like the characters therein.

I liked the continuation of the characters, their skills and the fight against darkness. I would have rated it higher except I found the storyline between Katana and Osama to be manufactured and unbelievable. There was no reason for Osama to keep the truth from Osaka, let alone continually walking away from her.
