I like the simplicity of this cipher wheel's design. The middlemost wheel turns to allow you to create the cipher in conjunction with the bottommost wheel (which is stable). It was fun solving the labyrinth that holds it all together -- that was a neat design element that makes this even more interactive. I think it's a great teaching and learning tool for young readers who are learning how to solve puzzles such as a cryptogram.The materials are good quality. The wood is solid, sanded smoothly, and the finish is subtle but protects the wood.

The Creative Escape Rooms Labyrinth Cipher Wheel is wonderful for budding sleuths eager to learn the ins and outs of spy-craft. Or, my grandchildren eager to learn some simple ways to write secret messages to each other and friends.First, the Cipher Wheel arrived in excellent shape and the instructions were clear and concise. The included examples were especially helpful in helping the whole idea to "click" in my grandchildren's minds. The Cipher Wheel is made of wood and very sturdy having been dropped repeatedly already. The Wheel is big enough to be easily read, yet small enough that it was able to be "hidden" in a backpack very unobtrusively. My only admonition to them was to not get caught using it while not supposed to in school. That would be "an automatic fail in spy school". LOL. It has already provided hours of fun and if the original reaction is any indication, it will continue to provide many more hours. I love when things are not only educational but fun as well. Helps them to learn and grow simultaneously. Can't ask for anything better.So, a deceptively simple product that has been done very well. There's not many moving parts to review or critique so there's not really much else to say. I guess the whole point of it all comes down to two basic questions. First, would I order it again? Yes, I would absolutely order it again. Great product that works well. Second, would I recommend it to others? Same answer as the first question, yes I absolutely would recommend this others. I feel this is SO much better than an app or something like that. It makes them use their head and it's fun to boot! A definite 5 star product without a doubt.A+++++

I recently threw my wife a puzzle/riddle themed party and thought this Labyrinth Cipher Wheel would make a great piece for a future party. The laser work is crisp and the outer and inner lines match up perfectly. The craftsmanship is very nice with no signs of quick, sloppy work. The dial turns smoothly and stays in place. It came with some instructions on how to use it as well. I'm quite happy with it.

I got this to use in my D&D games as a way for my players to puzzle out information. It's gonna work great and I will be getting the Dwarven and Elvish language ones if things go well with this one. Made of laser cut wood it is assembled well and spins freely. Should last a while. When my teen saw it she wanted to use it to make hidden messages for her friends. That's a win in my book.
