Felicibini Baby Mattress Protector for Cribs

Love these. They are going on close to 2 yrs and the backing is a little worse for wear since we've put them through a few hot dryer cycles and change out the two we have about 2-3 times a week. Unlike some other mattress pad, the back didn't melt, it just got rips/holes. Because it is thick terry, though, the rips have not affected the absorbency and we haven't had any leakage onto the mattress... though we dealt with leaked through diapers a few times a week which is why they have such frequent wear. It did take about half a year to have any wear and tear- and again, we did NOT do our best to treat them nicely.I bought them b/c I wanted the mattress to feel softer for our then baby and it was exactly what i got. I will be ordering more even though we no longer need the waterproof, i haven't found a review of a soft toddler bed mattress pad that doesn't have a backing that won't melt in the drier.

This mattress protector is simply awful. I washed it today for the first time in warm water/normal cycle as per the product description on Amazon. Imagine my surprise when I pulled it out of the washer to find that the waterproof backing was completely torn off. When I looked at the care tag on the product itself, it did NOT identify itself as by "Felicibini", but rather had the name "Brodex" instead. And the instructions on the tag? It said handwash in cold water! Ain't nobody got time for that! Save yourself the aggravation/hassle and just get a different product.

We bought this mattress cover for our toddler's bed since he was getting kicked out of the crib to make room for baby brother. I am very impressed with how thick the padding is on this protective cover, it is perfect for an older child to soften up a stiff toddler/crib mattress - though I would probably avoid using it for young infants who are still at higher risk of SIDS.I've washed and dried this several times already and it has held up well, though I always dry it on the delicates setting since it does have a plasticized liner which I would worry could warp or melt at higher temperatures.Highly recommend based on our limited experience so far!

At first these were nice. I bought two because we were night-time training my 4yo. I knew we'd have to do a decent amount of laundry for a while. I followed the wash instructions (cold water and no-heat dry). It's been less than 2 months and the waterproof backing it already disintegrating allowing urine to seep through onto the 2nd mattress pad. And now I have to wash both every time, and now the 2nd one is falling apart. I really needed the waterproof portion to be the part to remain in tact. I'm a little disappointed. This product would be fine for a child still in diapers where you just want to protect against leak throughs or juice spills.

I did quite a bit of research about mattress pads before purchasing this one. I love these mattress pads! They are super absorbent and have a nice terry cloth cover. The sides are a quality fabric material that hold up well in the wash. I have washed these pads at least twice and they have come out of the washer in great condition. It is also nice that these have an iron clad warranty if something goes wrong... just make sure you don't put them in the dryer! I lined dried mine and it worked well. I purchased two... one for backup.

Just washed this mattress protector sheet for the first time and i am pleased to say that it did not shrink and the quality does not seem to have suffered due to the washing or drying machine. I also feel that the fitted crib protector sheet is soft and thick enough to keep and trap the occasional pee accident. I would definitely recommend this mattress protector.

I will confess to not reading the care instructions, but i have a second waterproof pad, this one alternates with. I never had a problem washing the other, but on this one, the waterproofing substance is peeling in a few spots. Call me crazy, but a crib pads job is to keep icky baby substances off the mattress. With such a dirty job, to me, itseems like you should be able to wash it regularly without ill effects.

The cleaning instructions are simple, but I actually put it through the spin cycle twice to try to get more water off it and then hung it up for a few minutes while our king size mattress protector was drying-- by the time it was ready to go in the dryer it was dry. I think it makes my sons bed a little more comfortable and it's already proved it works when my son spilt his milk all over his bed! Great product!
