Pretty easy to operate, and materials seem to be of very good quality. I cannot say enough about how this has saved me big time money and time! As long as I have a boat, I will have one of these winterizing units.

Nice big tank and functional drain valve. What I liked best are the accessories fittings and hose. This is a first grade product.

Very good and easy to use. Tank will hold plenty of antifreeze enough to do the job, i have 50hp 3 cyl. mercury motor and only need to fill the kit with 2 gallons of antifreeze to flush the motor. The kit is awesome and has a CLEAR hose and cut-off and supply valves on the supply hose and tank that make it easy to properly flush motor. I then flush out kit by removing "ears" from boat motor and leaving it all hooked up and once flushed clean store and reuse. The tank has a little breather cap that helps. The clear hose is long enough for me that I was able to cut it in half and have an extra hose after buying some hose end parts.The clear hose helps a lot to know precisely when the antifreeze gets in motor so you can watch for it to come out the weep hole.Kit is just enough quality to where youre not paying a lot to keep cost down, so you cant be real rough while handling it especially after being filled, but will still last for years if you store it in a basment or somewhere.This kit is Dave approved!

Tub works great, hold plenty of fluid, and is simple to use. I have a 5.7l mercury and it worked well for winterizing. Hose was good, connections weren't thin and cheap. No issues.

I just used this kit to winterize my 2006 Four Winns which has a Volvo Penta 5.0 GL-F engine / SX Outdrive. What a breeze. If you follow the instructions and make sure that your engine is warmed up to operating temperature first before you cut over to the anti-freeze, and your anti-freeze is around room temperature (has not been sitting outside in your shed or in a cold garage), you should have no issues at all using this kit. In fact, the directions call for you to use an adapter for engines with front mounted water pumps (like Volvo), however I did not need it because my engine has a flush port nozzle which leads right to the water pump intake which I hooked it right up to (I believe most late model Pentas come standard with this). I was slightly hesitant to buy this kit at first because I saw some folks who posted that there is no way this allows anti-freeze to get into the block because of the thermostat opening and closing to regulate temperature. That may be true if you don't follow the directions. Once your engine is warmed up and you cut over to the anti-freeze which is near room temperature, trust me, your thermostat will stay open and it will fill the block. If you don't trust this, then just open up one of the lower block (not exhaust) petcocks after the engine has cooled and you will see it flowing pink.

Exactly as described and worked perfectly. Obviously I won’t be 100% sure until the spring, but I’m 99% sure I’m completely ready for a hard Michigan winter. Saved myself $400 doing it myself.

This kit has everything you need for a quick block winterizing. All the hookups are included. Hook up fittings, connect to hose, fill with antifreeze and follow instructions. I would recommend watching their video on Youtube before you use for 1st time. Good quality, will last for years and years.
