(Edited Review of ) May or may not be Silver. IT IS.
This looks nice, but unlike the seller's description...there is NO stamp that it is indeed .925 silver OR made in Italy. For all I know, I just paid almost $300 for $20 worth of stainless steel. Unless the seller wants to reimburse me for an appraisal to verify their advertisement as "silver", there's no way to be sure. I may return it...but it looks nice, has a nice weight and clasp, and otherwise I like it. Too bad it may not be as advertised.(Edited Review. 6/29/17)I changed my rating from 3 to 5 stars after an email from Sterling Co-Founder (Mani) showing me where the .925 stamp was (on the lever of the clasp). I tried finding the "Italy" stamp, which they say is on the last link, with a magnifying glass, and still can't find it. However...it doesn't matter as long as it is indeed .925 solid sterling silver. It is.Also the company offered to pay for an appraisal. I'll let them keep their money and I....will keep the necklace, wearing it proudly and confidently knowing I have the REAL DEAL.I have no problem buying from them again or recommending them. I LIKE...companies like this who genuinely care about their customers and reputation. A++

925
The chain is nice Although i did notice that some of the links were not Fully soldered properly and I believe that the 925 stamps were way too small. But other then that its a nice sliver chain.

Beautiful chain very heavy
Beautiful chain very heavy, lays nice around your neck, beats having to pay $5,000.00 for a white gold chain, most people will never know, recommend

No what you expect
I was extremely happy with this necklace until recently. It appeared like it was... oxidizing, but since it was platinum plated (so I thought), that can't be as platinum doesnt oxidize.Anyways I ran it through a hornady sonic cleaner for a half hour with some dedicated sonic cleaner jewelry cleaner. Nothing at all happened. If anything it may have looked even more dingy looking. Now because I can't seem to make it shine anymore, I pull out the big guns and use scotch-brite on the hasp portion only to see what the hell is going on. I scrubbed the hell out of the hasp trying to take off the so-called platinum plating.I'm no jeweler, but I know what sterling silver looks like as I have a few bracelet chains and other necklaces. I never managed to rub enough away to get to sterling... nor could I scrub the hasp portion enough to get the dingy look away.Honestly I would stay away from this necklace and get a non plated - solid sterling silver necklace instead. Waayyyy easier to clean and pretty much always stays bright looking. For additional reference, I attached a picture of the necklace and a bracelet I have had for years thats sterling silver. As you can see, the necklace in no way stays shiny
