Perfect Fit. REMOVE YOUR BUMPER
Perfect fit, and quite the upgrade from the stock vertical-finned grill on my WK2. Word of advice— remove your grill (YouTube has some great vids on this) and put some masking tape on your headlamps (put a bit of a scratch on mine removing my number since I had to use a bit of force). Bumper removal is fairly easy. Hardest part was popping out old grill as the plastic was getting soft and was popping right out as expected.

Poor Instructions but Nice Look
OK, the reviews are correct. You CAN install these without removing the front bumper, fender flares, etc. - but you WILL pay a price for your efforts!Reviewers are right, the instructions are pretty poor. Honestly, hitting up YouTube was more helpful. I was well on my way to removing the bumper when some of the plastic push pins in the fender flare started to give me problems (yes, I had the removal tools), so I decided to see if I could remove some hardware under the hood and squeeze my hands and arms in there since I don't have tree trunks for arms. BTW, there are at least 2 different types of push pins involved in the removal so keep that in mind. 1 of them has an insert and the other 1 has a rectangular head that sits inside of a groove in the fender flare.Short answer? Yes, I was able to get my grubby mitts in there. Finding and manipulating the plastic catches on the factory inserts was a true pain in the asteroid and I cursed like a sailor several times during the whole affair. You will literally need two hands to do this if you decide to do it this way and it's super awkward to do at times. I did get better at it, but I also got stuck a time or two, got way sweaty and tired, and nursed Jeep "cat scratches" on BOTH arms with Neosporin for several weeks (we're talking about gouges in some places). I did consider going back to removing the bumper, but my stubborness kicked in and I refused to let it win!So, what do I recommend? Buy some spare push pins when you buy this item, buy the removal tools, and research how to remove the front bumper on YouTube to see if this is in your comfort zone or not. I would not attempt the "arms-in" method again for any reason.End result? I dig the look. On my Limited, it continues the honeycomb look from the lower area and made me wonder why it came stock with those generic straight vertical line ones in the first place. I will say that they don't feel as sturdy in there as the factory ones though. I knocked it to 3 stars because of those instructions that took grammar lightly and made the whole process seem simpler than it was. If it wasn't for that, 4 stars for sure.

Looks great
These grill inserts look amazing. Very happy with them! They can be installed without taking the entire bumper off, but you’ll have a scraped up and slightly frustrated boyfriend by the end of it... just tight and awkward spaces but the pieces do snap right in and feel very sturdy and well made. The mesh pattern matches stock. I am very pleased with my purchase, but I wouldn’t recommend trying to install without removing the bumper unless you are very handy and very familiar with vehicle parts!

You really do need an auto tech to install it
It really does look nice it's took me about 4 hours to have an auto techie install it the bumper head to come off once you get it put in it looks really nice.
