An amazing find in these days of cheap and shoddy clothes that have to be returned, binned, or find their way into the Christmas Drawer to be gifted next holiday season to some unfortunate distant relative whom I never liked anyway. These socks I will guard with my very life. They will not be 'borrowed' or nicked, misplaced, they will not be devoured by the laundering machines and no hose-zone will ever know their presence. They will not be unhappily forgotten in some cheereless hotel room reeking of industrial cleaning products and failure. The recyclable paper labels I retain to 'accidently' slip into next seasons holiday cards as an audacious hint for what to leave for me under the tree or send in a bright Christmas package barring the next Christmas season's postal strikes..They are THICK, arrogantly thick. Audaciously thick and unapologetically so, with a severe and haughty sock pride unmatched by the most ardent of imitators. The knit is soft, smooth and even, the tops non-constricting, the toe seam nonexistent, they cradle my foot, ankle and calf like a cloud cradles a chubby cherub pucking a harp. They are well made and I expect will last a good long while. I love them. I might even name them after I get to know their individual personalities better..Buy these socks. You know you want to. You will not be disappointed. If you take care of your feet, your feet will take care of you. These socks will make your feet happy, and by extension, will make *you* happy. That happiness will spread to everyone around you, and before you know it, your corner of the world will be a more enjoyable and relaxed place for many people. And cats. And dogs. Who knows, maybe even guinea pigs, too. But do not keep the source of your happiness a secret. Share it so that others can have happy feet too.

These are really very good quality socks! My only slight criticism would be that they could be a bit thicker, they are great in shoes, trainers, and dress boots but not for applications were a proper hiking boot sock is needed.They are though really comfortable wash and dry well

At last a pair of socks that look and feel amazing. These socks are not cheap, but they're well worth the expense. I've bought 15 pairs and have thrown out all my other socks. Although the socks are quite thick, they keep your feet cool and not sweaty. I won't buy any other socks than these in the future.

It's only after getting abit older do you notice things like what effect and level of comfort synthetic material is having on your skin. Skin being the largest organ of the body, you begin to notice the difference between what is natural and what is not. Thank you to those who have taken the time to manufacture these socks, even though I remain skeptical that these have not got entirely pure wool only, I can definitely feel the difference to the other socks I have that are heavily laced with microplastics

They claim to be 100% cotton, but I ordered two packs and the packaging says 97% cotton, 3% elastane. False claim, I was looking for a plastic-free brand. Did this change recently? I had previous ones and I thought they were 100% cotton.
