Nubian Heritage Shea Butter - 100 Percent Organic - Patchouli and Buriti - 4 oz - Gluten Free -

I do like the product and the scent. But just like some of the reviews said doesn’t really have any patchouli oil scent. After researching all the ingredients it appears there isn’t any.

I’ve been a fan of Nubian Heritage products for years. I especially love the Patchouli Buriti scent. I decided to try this shea butter on a whim. It’s wonderful!!! I like the way it leaves my skin super-smooth but also shiny but NOT greasy. It’s fantastic. I wish the scent was a little stronger and more distinct but I recommend this product despite.

I use the Patchouli & Buriti body lotion so I expected this product to smell the same and be rich and creamy. The scent is nothing close to Patchouli & Buriti and the texture is gritty. This is not what I was expecting.

I first purchased this cream in California. Every year when visiting California I pick up a couple. I finished the last one and so happy I found it on Amazon it’s a great relaxing moisturizer. It stays a little greasy but does blend in to skin. The aroma is therapy for me.

**updated review*** read online that she’s crystallizes if heated and cooled during shipping. So I melted this down on the stove and put it back in the container to cool. It was creamy and worked fine. Kind of a pain but the product worked the same.(Old review)Granually and wouldn't melt into skin. I've purchased this at other places and it is not the right texture. Maybe old ( different packaging than picture) or knock off. I'm afraid to use.

I bought this item hoping it would have more of a patchouli scent. It doesn't. Overall I'm satisfied with both smell and moisturizing. Customer service from the company itself was definitely lacking though as they were not interested in listening to my concerns. Be aware of this if you need to contact them.
