The product does not work, the cats are loitering around my garden even after installing this device

Funciono para quitar los gatos de mi carro recien lavado, no mas patitas pintadas, pero no es instantaneo, no los asusta mas bien los molesta y eventualmente dejan de pasar por ahi, asi que los primeros dias parece q no funciona pero luego notas que lo dejan de hacer. Al principio notaras una reduccion de patas, el gato brinca escucha el ruido y mejor se va, despues ya ni lo intenta. Despues de cortar el mal habito, quite el aparato pero los gatos volvieron a subirle a las semanas, asi que lo volvi a sacar para recordarles. Si vives en un lugar de mucho calor las pilas recargables no te van a durar, el calor las mata, el nivel 2 q se supone es ultrasonico se puede oir y es molesto para unos. El nivel 2 sirvio para los gatos.

There was a small crawl space air vent that they would VOCALLY and territorially would fight over.It's been over a month, and only once (for about 10 seconds) did a cat meow under my window. PEACE & QUIET now rules 24/7.TIPS:• Verify that the product is working by using a "temporarily" setting that utilizes the audible trigger... so you know that it actually works out in the yard. After a few days of verifying it's actually working, set it to your appropriate setting.• In the winter months, melting snow dripping over the detector sensor may cause a false alarm. Simply wiping the front solves this problem easily.• FOR CATS - I sent the 'freq' at '2', and sensitivity 'just below the setting' that sets off the audible alarm. I've never had to change it once.• As previously stated, I would recommend initially using the audible setting so that you can test and hear the device working. Once the cats learn that it is a no-go zone, you never will hear it again. If the alarm does go off, you will hear it and know that you're protected!UPDATE OCT 2022:Still works as intended. No moral vocal cats under the window at night... or ever. PEACE & QUIET "STILL" rules 24/7.UPDATE NOV 2022:Still 5*'s.(fyi: temporarily stopped working. Solution... I cleaned the dusty solar panel on the top of unit. Since I couldn't find the included power adapter to charge up the batteries, I did the next best thing. Removed the back plate with a small Phillips head screwdriver to find out that the unit uses three (clearly marked) "NI-MH 1.2V AA 800mAh batteries". I REPLACED THEM WITH FRESHLY CHARGED AA 2600mAh nickel metal hydride batteries that could store more backup power at similar voltage.(WORKING AND BETTER THAN NEW since now the newer batteries can store more backup power at the similar 1.2V voltage)For what it's worth, I also found out the motion detection automatically turns off after 30 seconds of no motion detected.UPDATE MARCH 2023:STILL WORKING GREAT! I'm getting ready to buy a second one to add on the far side of my property.

It's great. I am using it in my terrace garden for squirrel repellent.

We had cats coming into our garden and were digging up soil at the bottom of my fruit trees and vegetable patches. The effect was immediate. Now no more cats in our garden ….. and no mire squirrels too. We used to got visits from civet cats too. But we havent had them for some time. Im sure they wint be back with the Amerfist in place.
