Fast wartungsfrei

VTEC Crossover more noticeable
I ordered this with the hopes to save money over constantly replacing the OEM filter. The added benefit was also that this was sold by Amazon themselves and that it could come the next day.As you'd expect, the overall thickness is a little thinner. This is also designed to be free-er flowing. One thing to note is that upon opening up, I noticed there was a lot of oil, not only on the cotton, but also on the rubber. I wiped a bit of this away just to prevent this oil from potentially going into my MAF sensor and messing it up.This, however, brings up the fact that this filter requires oil, so it's important to make sure that there's not too much on the filter such that it gets sucked up, but also that there is sufficient amount on it during operation. K&N state that after rinsing you leave to FULLY dry, so that the cotton can soak up the replacement oil properly, as well as that you'll need to replace the oil you've washed out. This means that maintenance isn't £0 - you'll need the oil etc...Therefore, I'd recommend keeping your original filter (if it isn't too dirty) just in case you still need to use the car when the washed filter is drying.Like others, I have noticed that the VTEC crossover is more noticeable. Normally, it should be expected that panel filters don't change the sound very much, but it is a pleasant surprise that there is a noticeable difference in Hondas. It does cost more than an OEM filter, I imagine it also doesn't filter as much, but it does let in more air and after a single clean, it will have practically paid itself off.Note: you should be able to check if this specific model fits your car, but my car is an FN2. Fitment was as expected.

Just what I needed!
It came in decent time. The part was correct and changing from my old stock filter I could feel the difference in the throttle response.
