ViiRO VO-SM03 is a heavy duty wall speaker mount for satellite speakers with four threaded inserts. Speaker wall mounts supports weight of up to 22 lbs (10 kg). Constructed with solid steel and decorated with attractive ABS cover, these speaker mounts present an elegant look especially when installed in your home. Each bracket can tilt 20 degrees up or down and swivel 60 degrees left or right to deliver your ideal sound conditions. The mounting bracket can be easily installed with slide-in speaker mounting plate which puts the speakers 115mm from the wall when fully stretched to give plenty of space for installation. Speaker mounts can be safely and easily installed on concrete wall or on single wall stud. Will This Speaker Mount Fit My Speakers?Your speakers should weigh no more than 22lbs (10kgs) as this is the maximum weight these speaker mounts can safely hold.Speaker mounts should be screwed directly to the speaker (or the speaker’s mounting plate if they have one), the part of the speaker mounting bracket that attaches to the speaker is 2.6in x 5.7in (65mm x 145mm) in size, so there needs to be enough room on the speaker to attach this plate. Well designed, well built, great product!
Purchased to mount 2 Focal XL speakers (will use this as a shameless plug for Focal, AMAZING SOUND!). Didn't expect much for the price, was extremely pleasantly surprised, from packaging to inclusion of too many (rather then too few as usual!) screws to thought through design - these holders are really nice! Will try to take a mounted pic and add it.The holes on the wall mounting plate are just narrow enough to be able to screw BOTH SETS TO ONE STUD! They must be centered perfectly of course (requiring a good stud finder and ideally a hole to get a finger through and be sure of placement) but great strength mounted this way (pre-drill so you don't split your stud!).The mechanism that allows them to tilt up or down even when the speaker is mounted is brilliant, simple, sturdy and easy to use! The speaker mounting plate connects in a way to allow the speaker to be hung without screws, then a couple easy screws to secure - but makes mounting a dream. Even the plastic covers (a bit thinner than ideal but work fine!) are well designed. I had to retrofit the mounting plate to my speaker mounting plate since I cannot mount directly to the back of these speakers, took a bit of thinking and drilling 4 holes in each plate, but worked perfectly and only necessary for specialty speakers like mine.VERY IMPRESSIVE - THANK YOU ViRO!!! ;-)

Neat idea but not practical.
I like the way these look but they are not very practical. The part of the mount that goes on the back of the speaker is pretty big actually and invariably covers the wire connections on the speakers. Tried 2 different sets of speakers and encountered the same issue. Ended up having to screw it on way off to the side instead of centered on the back and that throws off the balance of the speaker when its hanging. Future problem there I'm betting. Other problem I have with these is the wall side of the attachment is very small. That makes it pretty and easy to hide but plan on having something solid to bolt into. NO WAY you will get these to stay in drywall no matter what kind of bolts / anchors you use. Unless maybe you have SUPER TINY speakers perhaps. They do adjust but their range of adjustment is limited. All that taken into account if I did it over I would just put my speakers on a couple small shelves next time and forget the hassle.

... a pair of Bose 301 speakers and they are sturdy enough but there were a couple of issues
I used these for a pair of Bose 301 speakers and they are sturdy enough but there were a couple of issues.1. As wide as the 301s are, it was not easy to get the set screws tightened down behind the speakers mounted in the corners of the room.2. I could not get the plastic covers on after the speakers were mounted. This is not a big issue because you wouldn't ba able to see them anyway, but it is an issue.

Solid Mount
Solid but I did not put the plastic trim on, even though it looked nice it is loose and I did not want to take the chance of them rattling in my studios control room.

These mounts are terrific - used to hang a pair of Boston Acoustics A40 bookshelf speakers. Instructions were clear and easy to follow and the materials are high quality. They look great and are easy to adjust so the speakers hang properly.
