Ok
It's OK, not the best. Just remember to butter and flour it before you put you cake batter in. Otherwise it will stick.

Great for ghetto "mochi" in the micro.
Honestly, comes out the same as using saran over bowl and short burst nuking. It's fun to have toys, though.

soft/very thin/floppy but might actually be ok
It didn't make a good first impression but it might be ok - I'll update after cooking something in it. [only posting now in case this info is helpful to someone as is.]It's very soft and floppy but the upper edge (outer ring) gives it some rigidity - you certainly can't fill it with liquid or batter then pick it up with 1 hand but I was able to set it on the counter then fill it with water (up to about half an inch of the top was about 24 oz) and then use 2 hands to lift it from the counter and pour the water out.It has no odor [yeah I know it's not supposed to...sometimes "food grade silicone" does have an unpleasant odor)I like to do "mug muffins" where I triple the recipe and the dish I use for that doesn't cook evenly (in the microwave) in the middle, hence the attraction of the "donut" shape. One of these days I'll try this out for that and do an update here. This is so soft and thin, especially at the lowest area, that I'm concerned regarding using it for baked goods - as a gelatin mold it's probably fine if handled carefully. I chose this smooth one because I feared the fluted/decorative ones would be harder to get my cake out. Now I'm wondering if one of those would have been a better choice. (Assuming they would be more rigid.)
