I play beer league 3 nights a week. I needed new skates. During break in, the left skate cut skin at the high ankle area. Continuing to play didnt allow the cut to heal and it hurt so much that it affected my skating. I wore one of these sleeves for a few weeks and no pain and it healed.I have normal sized ankle for a middle aged man at 6’1” and 195 lbs and they fit just fine on top of skate socks right above the ankle bone.I would recommend for anyone having ankle pressure point/pain. Having dealt with lace bite in the past, i could see these helping for that too

I play defense in ice hockey, and thought it would be a good idea to put my shin pads on the outside of the skate tongue. That made the top part of skate boot dig into my leg above my ankle. I reverted back, but it still hurt. So I bought these silicone pads and place them on my leg where the pressure point from the skate was.it is helping that sore spot heal and greatly reduced the pain. I’m going to buy a second pair of these things and keep them in my bag just to make sure I have them.

Pretty durable exactly what I needed because breaking in my skates are terrible on my ankles. I match these with the gel pads for lace bite and they work amazing ! A must have for me to skate

Wore them the other night for the first time and I am super impressed with this product. I had virtually no pain/irritation on the outside areas of my upper ankles (both sides). My skates are a little older but comfortable otherwise. However, the padding has worn away due to my shinpads rubbing on them and it has created a very hard plastic area that digs into the side of my legs. Very very uncomfortable !! I don't know how long they'll last but I will definitely order them again because they worked so well.

My daughter’s skin was all bruised and had very rough skin around ankles due to wearing ice skating shoes. After using these Ankle Sleeves, her skin got his normal look again. So it’s a must have for us.

I have a metal plate and screws in my ankle from a broken bone surgery. This pad perfectly pads and protects it so that I can skate and ski without pain from the boots.
