I received this set of 2 placemats yesterday & it's too soon to review their durability or heat resistance, but I just wanted to share that these mats are perfectly transparent - clear as glass. These mats are slightly smaller than many other similar mats listed here & are a bit pricier. I did leave another review for the set of 4 ($9.99) which is listed as clear, transparent and those are not truly clear as this set of 2.I wanted the beautiful woodgrain of my table to show through, so if you're looking for truly clear mats, these will work.

Arrived in a FLAT package. Did not have to unroll it and put something on it to make it flat! Perfect for my granddaughter’s vanity desk. Lays flat. Stays flat. Looks great.
