Well I wanted to love this sponge and I did. Sadly it didn’t last a month mine started falling apart. I wear makeup daily so I have to wash it that often. Not sure why they recommend wetting it but this sponge would be amazing if it were fully coated in silicone. I contacted them via Instagram and they were great but didn’t offer me much of a solution. At the end of the conversation the informed me proper care for the sponge involves using their soap. I have really sensitive skin and I’m 100% sure I wouldn’t be able to use it anyway. But it was a great idea. Id repurchase if it was fully coated

Excited for this product after reading rave reviews. After using it for a month, I am not a fan at all. My issue came the first time I tried cleaning the sponge. Makeup did not wash off easily as advertised. I used a makeup brush cleanser and the textured base meant to be used as a cleaning tool and found it made it worse. Water is easily absorbed by the uncoated sponge at the base which is very hard to dry out. Once it has dried, it remained the expanded size it became with the absorbed water. A week later, I attempted to wash it again with the same issue and an even larger sponge once it dried. Makeup does apply nicely with it but I'll go back to purchasing 100% silicone makeup applicators moving forward.

I personally only use beauty blender for blending my foundations and cream contours so I was so excited to try this beauty sponge and see how it works. I ordered color pink and it came in a very interesting and chic box that you can even save it for keeping the beauty blender afterwards. The very first thing that you would notice is that the texture is not like any other beauty sponge. It has two parts, one is bigger part and has more like a plastic texture and the other part is the smaller section and the bottom part which is like any other beauty sponges texture. It gets so much bigger after wetting it which is very nice. It works very well on foundation but the texture is not good for blending concealer or cream contours.

The bottom of this case is high-quality silicone, I am impressed. By far the best face sponge I've found for my skin type and medium coverage foundation I use. It's not like any other sponge I ever had before, the sponge is not as soft as a foam sponge, it is a bit rough on the surface, but it does not soak up my make up which saves me from losing them in the sponge.

Works well for makeup application but sucks in every other aspect. The little stand which is supposed to clean the sponge is useless because it doesn’t clean it, only makes it worse and spreads it. The sponge always stays expanded after the first time you add water so the cute little lid thing to store it in is useless because it doesn’t fit inside anymore. My sponge would NEVER fully dry after each use and ended up growing MOLD even though I made sure to wring it out and put it in a dry open place. Threw it away and went back to my original beauty blender because it dries fast after each use.
