Bristot100% Brasile Capsules compatible with Lavazza Blue* Machines | 50 Count

A lot of people complain that there is not enough capsule variety available for the Lavazza BLUE system. On one hand this is true, but it's also true that the Lavazza varieties that are available are incredibly good. The Lavazza BLUE capsules make some amazing espresso (for a capsule). That said, I saw these Bristot BLUE compatible capsules and I immediately placed an order.Bristot is a great Italian espresso brand and I was excited to be able to get Bristot capsules for my Lavazza BLUE machine. At 60¢ each these are not cheap but not out of line for what you are getting. Bristot puts really high quality coffee inside these. My capsules had a great "best before date" as well, 30 Sep 2022.My own tasting notes: It formed a nice thick crema that lingered. This 100% Arabica blend has a sweet and enticing aroma, and from the first sip no bitterness at all. I taste a little fruit and cocoa. Bristot describes spicy notes but I don’t get spicy. I didn't find it overly acidic as I do some Arabica. I pulled a lungo from this capsule and it still had a lot of body, in fact it was a little chewy which I like. There were absolutely no grounds left in the cup so it's all good there. The flavor is very different from any other Lavazza BLUE capsule I've had and that's exactly what I had hoped for, something different. The flavor is wonderful. This is my new favorite capsule for my Lavazza BLUE espresso machine. I will definitely buy these again, hopefully on sale.* Update 6/23/2021: In my previous update (now deleted) I took a star for the coffee being too acidic, but I now realize I was trying to get too much out of this 8.5g capsule. I was over-extracting, my mistake. This is a really great capsule after all, but don't try to extend it to make a lungo or it will over-extract and not taste so good. If you stick to pulling a single shot you'll probably end up agreeing with me that this is indeed a great capsule. Smooth, rich, complex and delicious.

I purchased this as an alternative to the "L" brand looking for some diversity in flavor. For the price, it's nice to have something a bit different than the name brand. Coffee is delightful to the palate.

I bought this since I didn’t want to buy 100 capsules and it had good reviews. The price was right and so I took a chance. I’ve got to say the taste is really really good! I think I like it better than the Lavazza brands. Smooth and velvety, since your only buying 50 and not committing to 100 capsules it allows me to switch it up and try different styles more often. As long as it remains such a good value I’ll try the other types too. Get some!

I really liked this coffee!! It is good value, very smooth and has a lovely crema when brewed.It works with my Lavazza expert. The pods are fulled with just a fraction more air than the Lavazza so most of the time needs a little push to drop it in but it otherwise fits perfectly and brews a lovely cup. It is strong without the bitterness and I will buy again. Price point is good too.

Tastes like your parents coffee. This is a 50 pack… so double the price if comparing with Lavazza coffee pods (100).

Coffee is good, works in the Lavazza Expert machine. This is my first non-Lavazza product through my machine in the year and a half of owning it.These pods turn out a delicious cup of coffee.

Caution on purchasing this item. It was not what I expected and was overpacked/ overfilled. Caused issues in my Lavazza LB2317 brewer as the capsule was full of air. Would not dispense the used capsule the correct way and was a headache to deal with each time. Stick with the original products from the Lavazza brand only. On top of that, they offer no return policy which is wild as most everything on Amazon is returnable if there is an issue.

I have a Lavazza Classy espresso machine. Bristot Is the only other brand I've found that makes pods for it. The coffee is delicious.
