KensingtonSpin2 Monitor Stand with SmartFit System, Height Adjustable (K60049USAF),Black

I was very impressed with the quality and the convenience of this product. However I was disappointed at the height of my monitor when I put it on top of this device. I lowered the height by removing the piece in the center, and the height was better, but the tray opening was so narrow I couldn't reach the items that were in the center part of the divided trays.I would only recommend this to someone who was extremely tall or who had a desk chair that could be raised to a very high sitting position.

The name and title are misleading. It does not allow your monitor to spin or even turn. The storage tray spins but not what you set on top. Its very well built and great for height adjustment but that is not the main reason I was purchasing it. It would be an ideal solution if only the monitor stand would spin along with the storage tray.

Shipping was prompt and package was secured with suitable packing material. The product, exceeded my expectations. I gambled on the actual dimensions of the base, monitor platform, height adjustments and swivel factor. I personally was looking for a monitor stand for my second computer screen at the office which i could swivel to display records and files to my clients. I did read from other comments that the bottom supply tray only swivels and not the top platform where the monitor rests. I found to my delight that the monitor platform can swivel at 3" height setting (which per the 'Smartfit System' is approximately off by an inch lower per their hand chart). I believe due to the size base height of my monitor (acer S211hl 21.5" widescreen) the eye-level ergonomics of this system is compensated. The diameter of the supply tray is 13" and a diameter of the monitor platform of 11-3/4" with the front section tapered off at 10". The height adjustment for the monitor platform begins at 2" and raises to approximately 3.5" but securely at 3.25" since the 3.5" adjustment has abit of a wobble. The monitor platform is made of durable metal and is machine face with a silver coat.

The monitor stand received appears to have been used, or at least opened,before - product packaging unsealed, inner plastic wrapper torn, scratches on top surface of stand from something being dragged across it - but it arrived functionally undamaged.My monitor is now the correct height for viewing and the monitor's base covers all the surface scratches on the top of the stand.Set up, I now have more usable desk space beneath the outer corners of my monitor.Not sure how much I will use the plastic lazy-susan caddie as it needs to be carefully filled. Too much weight on one side makes the caddie scrape when turned, but it will be handy to keep a stylus from rolling away. - mine always ends up on the floor.The silver-gray metal/black plastic appearance coordinates nicely with my computer/monitor/keyboard and misc desk accessories.

This is a really good product. My laptop screen was blocking the bottom part of my computer monitor. I was about to go the phonebook route (do they still make those?) when I saw this. Highly recommend.

This stand is fantastic at what it does. It raises the monitor on stable platform that does not feel like it is in danger of breaking. It also adds to desktop utility and organization.My complaint is that there is no mechanism in place to rotate the monitor itself. The only thing that rotates is the black plastic supply tray. It should not be that much more difficult to put a rotating platform on the top, or make the entire thing rotate. I feel that is a critical feature that this is missing.Despite my complaint, I have bought several of these because not everybody NEEDS the rotation, and people at our company are using them happily. If you want your monitor stand to turn your monitor, keep shopping. If you just 'need a lift,' you're all set!

I needed to have my Dell monitor more at eye level due to the fact that most of the monitors today lack height adjustment, unless you go to the higher end models. Eye level is what is ergonomically correct. Many of the monitor stands I looked at appeared to take up too much desk space. Since I have a Dell monitor with a round pedestal stand, this Kensington Spin2 was perfect. It's just slightly larger than my monitors base, which makes for a perfect fit. I haven't tried to adjust the height because it was just right out of the box. The storage carousel in the bottom is a nice touch to throw little things. Now I'm not hunched over staring down at my monitor getting back aches.

I had to adjust it lower, and it doesn't work as well unless the full height is added. There are only two height options and I have no choice but low, so now it doesn't turn the monitor, but the bottom storage acts like a lazy Susan, so that is convenient storage, but it's so short I can't get my hand under there for my small items.I'm on the fence about it.

Il piatto superiore è definito regolabile poichè l'attrito di due tubi (uno dentro l'altro) sorregge il piatto, ma sollevando il piatto l'attrito diminuisce e quindi sorregge meno peso... pensavo ci fosse una filettatura interna (con dei gradini per impedirne la discesa) e invece no. L'ho pagato 15 euro da warehouse deal, con qualche imperfezione estetica (il piatto ha una macchietta). Il disco centrale non ha nessun tipo di disco e rotea strisciando su un rialzamento vicino al sostegno. L'immagine è ingannevole non riuscirete a sollevarlo così tanto, se ci dovete poggiare un monitor (anche leggero)

La base del producto se puede girar para acceder a los distintos compartimentos en los que está dividido, y la altura puede ser regulada añadiendo o quitando una pieza del eje central, por lo que se puede elegir entre dos alturas (en la imagen tiene puesto el eje y por tanto está a máxima altura).Le hubiese puesto cinco estrellas si hubiese podido regular la altura de forma gradual, pero al menos tiene una construcción sólida y no queda feo en el escritorio.

I have a smaller desk so the footprint of space that this monitor stand takes is perfect, PLUS I now have extra storage. Would I buy another? Without hesitation!

The media could not be loaded.  Je ne m'attendais pas à cette qualité! Il est lourd, et à l'air très solide, plus grand que je ne l'avais imaginé mais c'est positif, mon écran 20" ira parfaitement. Le rangement dessous est en plusieurs compartiments, idéal pour ranger stylos, trombones ou clés USB.Les explications pour mettre votre écran à la bonne hauteur sont très détaillées, c'est très pro.Mini bémol, pour faire pivoter le panier de rangement c'est très facile, mais pour l'écran il faut forcer, au début j'ai même cru mettre trompé de produit car je pensais que le plateau support écran ne tournait pas (vidéo démo), finalement je pense que c'est un plus pour que votre écran ne bouge pas de manière intempestive, mais si vous devez souvent faire pivoter votre écran ça risque d'être un problème...
