I Can Finally Practice Drums In The House Without Disturbing Others
New, out of the box, these pads smell like new tires. And the smell is strong. But, within a few days, the scent has faded to the point where it is barely noticeable. The practice pads fit with my Gretsch Catalina Club 4-piece kit and Sabian AAX cymbals (hi-hats, ride and crash) just fine. Gives enough sound-dampening so as not to disturb others in the house when I'm practicing. The pads don't interfere with the normal feel of the kick drum or the sticks, and I get a realistic rebound on both. Installation of the pads only took a few minutes. Make sure you have a drum key to install the adjustable kick drum bracket.The only bad part is that I now have to come up with new excuses explaining why I'm not prepared for rehearsals.Quite happy with the quality and price of this practice pad kit.

Makes a huge difference - but the kick pad is broken already!
Really makes a difference to volume - even the dog stayed in the room whilst practicing.I used bulldog clips to pinch up any excess on the cymbal pads - and that works well.WARNING ! The kick pad is held on with two metal arms that clamp on the the kick drum hoop. Mine broke on day one and scratched the cr4p out of my hoop - Not great and the damage will cost more to repair than these pads cost!!! But for the rest of the kit it makes a real difference.

Good but maybe questionable durability.
These work wonders at reducing the noise on your drums. My tip is when using the snare you should turn off the snare wires otherwise they will still ring with the dampeners on. After a few months the foam padding started coming off on the bass drum. I play double bass and I do hit fairly hard but still worth noting. Otherwise the rubber pads for the rest of the drums will see some wear and tear from being smacked but will still function like normal. I didn’t really have any issues with rebound.

期待通りの性能で、我が家では近所に気兼ねなくドラムの練習ができます。しかし、シンバル用のものは引き延ばして使うため徐々に亀裂が入ってきています。消耗品でやむを得ないということでしょうか。今は末端をシンバルから外して、延命を図っています。その使い方でも、消音効果には特に変わりはないようです。
