The media could not be loaded. Okay, I've had this pump in my pond for about a year (though I take it out in the winter months). It's done pretty good for the money. It doesn't really have a filter on it, however, so I had immediate problems with clogging. This can be solved with a filter bag you can purchase on amazon for about $10. You pop the pump into the filter bag and use the string to cinch it up around the pipe and it works fine, though the bag will probably need to be cleaned about once a week depending how dirty the pond is and how much you run the pump. I have multiple bags so I can sit down and clean them all at once in a 1/2 hour session a few times during the summer.The pump comes with a couple of heads. I used the mushroom one for a while, but recently just removed it and let the water just gurgle out the top. This actually makes the lights useful in the evening. With the mushroom head the water was never illuminated, but when you just let it gurgle out the pipe, the water is lit up by the lights.The pump comes with suction cups on the bottom to hold it up, but this really isn't very useful in a pond situation, so I removed them and then used silicon glue to attach the pump to one of those saucers that sits below a ceramic pot. The saucer is heavy and wide, and keeps the pump from tipping over in the wind. The saucer and pump still sit within the filter bag without a problem.UPDATE - It's 2022 and this is the fourth year this pump has been running without a problem. I usually have it in the pond from May till November running 8 hours a day, which is enough to keep the pond clean.

This is a nice little fountain pump!I have mine in a 20 inch flower pot .The blossom head minimum spread is larger than 20 inches!I need a bigger pot to put it into!At max draw the blossom head shoots almost 4 feet up.The mushroom head is nice also ! It's spread is adjustable and fits into my 20 inch flowerpot!The so called instruction sheet is tiny you need good eye's or a good magnifier to read it!The Mushroom head is adjustable you have to grab the top disk and twist it while pulling tochange the spread and also adjust the flow knob on the pump.The blossom head clogs on me and there is no info on how to take it apart to clean it!I managed to to damage mine trying to clean it. I would like to get a replacement fountain head kit if possible?I don't know how to reach the seller to ask for one?

Works Okay, takes a while to adjust flow. Mushroom head broke while adjusting. Pretty light weigh but works for me. We will see how long it will last.

I had this pump in my fountain for 3 weeks and it completely stopped working. It's not clogged or damaged, the motor just stopped. Of course, it's right outside the return window...so I guess they got me there.UPDATE: IM UPDATING FROM 1 STAR TO 3 BECAUSE THE SELLER DID ATTEMPT TO MAKE THE SITUATION RIGHT WITH ANOTHER PUMP, BUT I HAD ALREADY BOUGHT FROM A DIFFERENT RETAILER.

I ended up just putting a short adapter on the pump and the LED ring loosely over that.Has plenty of power and wide flow adjustment range.Kind of looks like a drinking fountain bubbler the way I set it up.Flow can be adjusted from an inch or so arch, to all the way to spraying the water out of the birdbath!Will need to evaluate performance again following a very cold night. (works well in cold)My birdbath seems a bit shallow for this, as even with it filled to the brim pump still sucks in air.Clogged about 2 months after purchase. Can't figure out how to open to clean.This could be a serious issue in winter (which has not yet ended).It also aspirates quite a bit of air in my birdbath, causing erratic operation and gulping sounds.On the 2nd one I bought I got an extension tube and the mushroom spray nozzle assembled, but the parts really felt much too tight or much too loose. Have to test.Doesn't produce anything like a mushroom shaped spray, all water goes in a small "petal" shape in one direction or only trickles down the sides of the nozzle. When adjusting tighter, the extension tube telescopes causing most of the water to spray out of the birdbath. When adjusting looser, the water all trickles down the sides of the nozzle with no spray. Self loosens during operation, no stable setting of the nozzle.Lowered my rating from 3 star to 2 star.Lowered my rating from 2 star to 1 star, when 2nd pump also clogged less than a week after setup and couldn't figure out how to open and clean either of them.

This pump and the fountain accessories work great, very powerful suction. Almost too powerful, as I keep having to remove the dead goldfish from the pump. Great for viewing , the led light makes a nice show for my nosy neighbor Laura. She likes watching the different colors reflect on the dancing water. The only downside is the afore mentioned fish, but perhaps the fish were happier in the pet store tank than in my pond. So who really knows what goes on beneath the slow ripples of water where the led light dances gently. One thought,id maybe buy another and set it at the opposite end of the pond and create some kind of confluence just to confuse the fish. I'd really show em then. Just try and wish you were back at the pet store!

The pump had plenty of power but the attachments would not stay attached. The Mushroom attachment would slowly come unscrewed as the water flowed and eventually comes off after a few minutes. Not all the pieces fit together correctly either. The extension tube would shoot right out of the pump because there was nothing to keep it tightened. 2 Stars because the pump is fine, but paying twice as much for the attachments is not worth it.

This pump has no problem pumping a beautiful waterfall in my outdoor pond. I would definately buy it again.

This idem was completely dirty with dirt.So this has to be a used idem.I didnot buy a used idem.I bought a new one!!And no real instructions on how to put together properly. Peices don't fit,,the extension won't stay up and I have no idea how to keep the lights up.But I'm more angry as my 3year old grandson was very excited to see the pond working.I expect my money back or a new and better pump.Thanks fr.Dee

the item I received, Is dirty, looks like a return, I haven't used it as yet, I will update review when I see if it even works. UPDATE company reached out to resolve the issue, and sent out out a brand new pump, It is very rare these days for a company to have integrity, and stand by their products, offering solutions, this is A+ in my books. first two days it worked perfectly. After two days, The water pump stopped working and now I have no working fountain, Sadly. Also, it’s impossible to connect The tubes, as they have the same size
