Bought this for our granddaughter. It's a bit noisy and perhaps a bit advanced for her (not yet two years old).

Our daughter loves this toothbrush! I love that it sings for the healthy amount of time they need to brush! Win:Win! Our daughter loves to brush her teeth so this firm toothbrush is fine for her. If your little one doesn't favor brushing, this toothbrush may be a little too firm for them.

The ad didn't say it was for a female. I thought it was unisex he's only three, so he doesn't realize, but I do.
