I don’t think so. I think they put that strip in the picture because they don’t have copyrights for the image

Q: Where do I attach the magnets

It all depends on where the projector is located. I laid the magnet down on the door seal close to the projector. Then it’s all about tricking the location. How far to the left or right and how far in the car or how far closer to the door. Bottom line… there is no exact location - more of a hunt and peck. I do like the product and bought another set for my second car. Hope this helps.
