Not usful. Softwear sucks. Verry spacific.
Miss leading add. I think its bc im not sure of a compatible softwear. Iv seen these used on hondas but i can not find a softwear that works this thing forces a expencive subscription only to be ford spacific. If anyone knkws a good softwear with this that works for handa pls let me know.

Used with ForScan on Lenovo laptop. Ford C-Max Energi
Used in conjunction with a WiFi OBD2 scanner. For longer term data collection, as well as having screen real-estate to be able to actually read and interpret data.I bought it to diagnose and repair the O2 sensor and a misfire on cylinder #1 on my Ford C-Max Energi ICE. I also have a charging problem with my plugin system. So far appears to be loose connection on the main control module. I can read the critical diagnostic data regarding total and bank voltages. Resistance, which indicates if there is a leak from one or more cells. And read average cell/pack voltage.Has switch to jump between basic OBD2 functions (mostly ICE related) and mode that allows to read secondary systems, ABS, Hybrid and Plugin systems. ForScan will prompt you to flip the switch when reading selected categories of data or trouble codes.USB cord is long enough if you want to run laptop on passenger seat. You can buy a USB extension cable for about $5 if you needed to sit in rear seat while someone drove you around.I intend to install a secondary screen and be able to watch performance data. In this situation the unit would be semi-permanent. Depending on the location of your OBD2 port this might be invisble, or you may need to buy an OBD2 extension to tuck it out of the way.

Make sure it work with your vehicle!
It said it worked with my vehicle and it does not. Trying to remove MyKey from my ford with Forscan and it doesn’t work with my car!!! Not happy

2014 Ford f150 with eco boost verified works well with this
2 mods and turning my remote start on was a complete success. Online videos for my truck was key to succeeding. But make sure that they contains the proper spreadsheet information and save your build before attempting anything. Safety is utmost important. I highly recommend this product. It saved me hundreds of dollars.

Doesn't Work
I ordered this item to replace another OBD scanning tool that didn't work either. Basically needed to access the TPMS module on my truck and it won't do that, it won't display the TPMS menu.Additionally, when I received it it was left on my porch in a clear plastic bag that anybody could see into and the nut and lockwasher for the MS/HS CAN switch were rattling around loose inside the bag, which was also sliced partially open. Amazed that I even got it with all the parts...

Doesn't work with forscan
Got this for my 2014 f150 based on the reviews unfortunately it will not work with my vehicle for some reason.

Not compatible
When connecting to vehicle using the Forscan software i get a message saying it is the incorrect hardware for my Mustang 2017GT even though in the description it says its compatible with Mustangs
