AKXHX Aluminum Gaming Mouse Pad with Non-slip Stickers, Silver

I bought this because I have cats that left fur all over my old cloth-type mousepad and metal would be easier to keep clean. I find the edges are rounded, smooth and aren't noticed during use. As you use this mousepad you may see black develop - on it, mainly in the area of mouse contact. Most of it cleans off easily but the more it's used, I'm noticing darker (but still smooth) less shiny areas. Before starting this review I tried cleaning the entire top with alcohol on a tissue but the darker areas are still there. That doesn't affect the use but I'm not sure how this may progress with more use.They really should include extra non-slip pads. In the short time I've had mine, all four have managed to come off and have been lost so I will need to improvise.The version I bought is the smaller mousepad, which works fine for me, but if you play games or need to make really lengthy mouse moves be sure to order a larger version.I'll try to update this after more use to cover the darkening in the area that gets the most wear.

Loving my new mousepad! I use a laptop and move around with it a lot during the day, so until now, I'd been using a cloth mouse pad with a rubber bottom and hard center. I was a little skeptical about switching, but after using this aluminum pad, I can't say I'd go back. This mousepad is light, comfortable, smooth, and stays in place very well whether I place it on a side table or a small sliver of a footboard when laying in bed! It's definitely large enough to get the job done. I've already tried both some light photo editing and gaming with it, and honestly, it seems to improve tracking accuracy quite a bit.I thought I should add this in: Some people complained about it being noisy, and I saw that first hand... using someone else's cheaper mouse, that is. If you're having issues with the mousepad being noisy, it's because your mouse isn't smooth enough on the bottom. So, if your mouse is cheap, expect this to be... eh, maybe around twice as loud as a cloth pad. But with a quality mouse (I use a Logitech), you won't notice a difference. If you're getting a quality mouse pad anyway, might as well have a quality mouse!All in all, I'm very satisfied with my mousepad. It does just as advertised, and I'd happily get the same exact mousepad if I bought another one!

Love it. The two sides are pretty cool abs definitely useful. I don't game so I can't really talk about that, but it's a neat mouse pad that does it's job abs can also double as a hard surface to put my laptop on in a pinch.

Pretty loud, any pebble is felt and a little on the tall side. I find my mouse skidding off the top rarely.Does look sweet and sticks very well (no adhesive)The company put wrapping sticker on the edge of the pad for whatever reason and now the residue can be seen. Tried cleaning it off but it's still there.

Cannot use this pad. Already scratched and unyielding.

I've been using this Aluminum Gaming Mouse Pad for three weeks now. I had read the reviews before purchasing with people saying it's loud or noisy and all that? I thought I could get used to the noise. After all, it's only noise, right?? Yeah, well good luck with that! The scraping sound got to me after three weeks and the mouse pad went right into the rubbish. I then purchased a 3M Battery Saving Precise Mouse Pad with Repositionable Adhesive Backing and I totallyl loved it! It's the best mouse pad I've ever used! It's not only quiet, it tracks better, much better than the aluminum gaming mouse pad! The cursor never flickers! When I move my mouse even a hair the cursor moves and still doesn't flicker! Don't waste your money buying this aluminum crap.

Its great for use on non flat surfaces but its a a lil too reflective on the aluminum color side for my laser mouse.

I bought this pad for my son since e sometimes uses his laptop on his bed I decided to get him a hard mouse pad., He loved it it's really good quality, works great !!!
