Miller's Collectibles Price Guide 2016-2017 Paperback – June 7, 2016

Expected the guide to cover more items per category; although, it's understandable that a person couldn't possibly cover all items in all collectibles categories.

Wanted to see more furniture

It was much too narrow in its scope. I've owned much better over the years. Like all else, quality is diminishing.

Great reference book

Compared to the 2014-15 edition it has the same layout on the page including the comments and an average of 7 items per page. You won’t find a large selection in any category but enough to get an idea of pricing. I have several of Judith Miller’s books and it seems like you have to have a few years worth to cover all the categories.For the person who really wants to get into collecting, there are 2 Judith Miller books that I would highly recommend: Miller’s Antiques Encyclopedia and Decorative Arts. They are as detailed as they are large with fabulous photography.Compared to the 2014-15 edition:Categories deleted- Art Deco, Autographs, Automobilia, Beer cans, Chess, Chinese collectibles, Costume jewelry, Disneyana, 50s & 60s, Fishing, Instruments, Kitchen, Marbles, Marine, Meteorites, Plastics and bakeware, Signs, Telephones, Tiles, Tools, Weird & wonderfulCategories added- Aeronautica, Arcade machines, Fashion, Fossils, Lighting, Mechanical banks & music, Scent bottles, Scientific instruments, Stoves, Tribal art

The most annoying problem with this Miller's guide is that there was no wording on the ad that this book is printed for dollars!!! no use to me whatsoever - how do I return it and exchange for English Sterling. Thanks

More focused on antique items and not collectables. Wizzed through it in 10 minutes. A waste of my money for sure!
