This is a frustratingly bad alarm clock. The biggest issue is that it randomly decides to blink a tiny LED on the front like it’s going off but NOT PLAY SOUND - which as you know, is the key to an ALARM CLOCK. Half the time it won’t link to bluetooth on my phone unless I unplug it, make my phone forget the device, then plug it in and link my phone again. The rest of the time, if you want to wake up to music, you have to hit the play button, have some voice say loudly in your quiet, dark room “LOOKING FOR BLUETOOTH… CONNECTED!” then let music come on for a second before hitting pause. Then after that, it emits a bright blue light from the back, which isn’t really optimal for having right next to your head while trying to sleep. It’s really one of the worst things I’ve ever purchased, and I’ve suffered with it for 5 months now, just constantly getting angry at it. So I plan tonight to smash it with a baseball bat and buy a different one. You should do yourself a favor and just skip the 5 months of frustration and buy a different one now.

Love this. The only issue I have is I have to take my case off each night to charge my phone. It’s very inconvenient and I will eventually purchase a different one because of this. For this price and it being an ihome it should charge the phone with the case on. I have a mag safe case and it still won’t charge with it on.

This worked great for a while, but the lights in the display have started to go out. Some of the numbers light up, and others don't. And some of them only light up partially, like a 6 will look like a 5 cause part of the 6 isn't working.

Overall I really liked this product. The charges work well, it’s compacted size, and the alarm tone is nice to hear when you wake up in the morning.Unfortunately it’s less than a year after I bought this and an abundance of the LEDs that show the time have burned out. So, I can’t look at the clock to see what time it is.Because it’s a “clock”, in my opinion, this should never happen.

I have an iPhone 13 with a magcase on it. The clock will charge the phone for about an hour, then stop charging. Charges watch fine. There is also a little flashing light under the front of the clock, not noticeable, but in the middle of the night looking at the clock is distracting. Also, the blue tooth indicator on the back is super bright if you are conencted. And if you have the alarm on the clock set to bluetooth, but no playlist is running, or not paired, the alarm will not sound. In all, as an alarm clock it works great, as a blue tooth alarm clock and charger, not worth it. I would expect more from iHome. I am returning it.
