I believe the best part about this Pathfinder version of Munchkin are the new Munchkin Pathfinder exclusive classes and factions (factions replaces race, or even better, you could also mix it up by including original Munchkin race cards!). While Munchkin Pathfinder's classes are not as "iconic" as the original Munchkin classes (warrior, thief, cleric, and wizard), they are far more interesting mechanically, at least in my opinion.If I had to nitpick a bit, I wish at least one of the classes could have been a "fighting/martial" class, but this is a very minor complaint. You can tell how well designed the Pathfinder classes are in Munchkin interpretation:Alchemist: the potion masterWitch: the enhancer and manipulator of curses at willNecromancer: raises dead monsters to fight against your opponentsSummoner: uses creatures from your hand to aid your own fights.They are all VERY flavorful AND plays very well mechanically. Easy 5 stars.(I purchased and own the deluxe version)

This game is absolutely amazing. You might start the game at the bottom of the pack with your friends but with a few choice plays and the right card in your hand you can easily rebound to first place and win. Once you get a feel for the rules and what cards do what you make some incredible combos. Every time we are about to end a game everyone is about to win on their next turn and its an absolute mad scramble to play anything you can to stop everyone else from winning while trying to save something so you can win yourself. It always boils down to everyone ganging up on the person at play until everyone has run out of cards.I could never recommend this game enough.

My ten-year old son and I really enjoy this game and will be looking at the expansions.

Good stuff. I wondered how on earth they were going to make fun of Pathfinder without it just being more of the same--and in some respects, it is just more of the same--but they manage to take on Pathfinder-specific things pretty well. The game board isn't bad, but I wish it came with an Epic side. Of course, then they couldn't sell us an Epic board, so ... ;p

Another fine addition to my Munchkin collection. The art style and enemies is this one are exactly how I wanted them to be. Munchkin will never get old, no matter what edition you start out with. What are you waiting for, get one! Your friends and family will thank you for the new addicition.

This is very cool because I'm a huge fan of the RPG. Alot of elements from the core game are in this set. The deluxe board looks nice and has a special six-sided die. I do feel however this is best mixed with the core set because this doesn't have any fantasy race cards or even the base classes, they're just the Pathfinder classes. Which is fine because this blends in seamlessly anyway.

The board in the Deluxe version is so great!! I love that there are gendered figures (boy and girl) so that curses which change gender can be easily followed and level can be found using board tiles. This will save a lot of confusion!

I got introduced to this game by some of my family members and I had to buy it. I've played it with friends and they all enjoyed it and say it's even better than Settlers. Great game for a family night, or a rainy day.
